Pension Otakar — Hotel in okres Svitavy

This pension is beautiful and located only a block away from the central square of Polička. We admired the beautiful staircase and the gorgeous woodwork throughout. We were on the top floor and had a view of the clock tower from our window. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There was an elevator to the third floor, but you had to carry your luggage up the stairs to the top floor. We were welcomed warmly, and enjoyed both the hospitality and the delicious breakfast! Walking around the town of Polička was great, and the park and old walls are nearby. Unfortunately, there is no AC, but there was a fan in the room and cross-ventilation from the windows. We travel to the Czech Republic every year and Policka most years. I have always been impressed at the Czech cuisine but less so o m the service, this changed at Otaker. |Somehow they have got everything just right the decor is luxurious without being over the top and the service attentive,the food was excellent and the wine list was extensive enough we had a fantastic bottle of Moravian wine and was not disappointed and the price was not expensive.
