Penzion V Podzámčí Litomyšl — Hotel in okres Svitavy

Eight of us had travelled over 200 miles across the Czech Republic to get to this pension and due to numerous issues and unforeseen circumstances we arrived late. They we’re closed when we arrived and after 13 hours on the road they would not let us in. I personally called the idiot manager who refused to open up and we were left with nowhere to stay for the night. Luckily we found a better hotel in town, but it looked like we were going to have to spend the night in the park! However they still charged our group £150! Disgusting customer service, do not even think about staying here and they wouldn’t refund the deposit - they should be ashamed to offer this as a somewhere to stay. However don’t let it put you off Czech Republic which is amazing, just avoid...

We were cheated out approximately £150 and despite efforts via Booking.com have been unable to recover our money. We were travelling by bike and were delayed by breakdowns and road closures. On arrival we were refused entry by the manager, despite a sign on the wall saying it was still open. The manager had cancelled our booking at 19:20, whilst we were enroute on 2 wheels....

A fantastic place to stay - a meticulously clean, cosy and romantic family-run hotel which offers free WiFi. There are parking spaces in front of the hotel and the chateau and main square are only a few minutes' walk away.
