Hotel Opera — Hotel in okres Třebíč

We stayed for one night and did get dinner and breakfast in this hotel. I'll start with the positives, because I have to give credit where it's due. Despite the look of the building from the outside, the rooms are actually quite nice looking. They're new and well constructed. The price for the rooms was quite low. And the staff was friendly and nice. The breakfast was tasty and you could choose from a lot of food.

But unfortunately the majority of our experiences are bad. I'll start with the dinner. We had to wait over an hour for our food (which was rather simple really - salads, fried stuff and so on). 35 minutes into our waiting we got the information that the kitchen received our order. 45 minutes after the order, we had to reorder a meal because of technical problems in the kitchen (these things can happen but why did the kitchen know about our orders so late?). The staff seemed distracted and confused. They didn't really know what they were doing. We had to remind them about some parts of the orders or forgotten drinks. The food was okay, but wouldn't go there a second time to eat dinner (cold/small portions/unremarkable). The final receipt also had some incorrect items, but it got sorted.

In the evening no warm water came out of the faucets. Some were completely dry. After asking, we were told that they know about it and are sorting it out. Again, these kind of things are normal to happen but it would be nice to know about such major problems. After 11.00 pm warm water was back on, but that was too late. For anyone over 180cm the beds and douvets may be too short.

All in all I think with better staff know-how a lot of things could be better. I know that these are difficult times but others are managing it...

Restauraci Operu jsem navštěvoval pravidelně několikrát do měsíce na polední menu a vždy jsem byl spokojený. Bohužel poslední dvě návštěvy výrazně změnily můj dojem.

Minule mě překvapila porce smaženého květáku — dvě růžičky rozčtvrcené a hrst brambor. Na menu nečekám hody, ale tohle bylo opravdu na hraně. Říkal jsem si, že se může stát, že to byl jen slabší den.

Dnešní návštěva však byla vyloženě nepříjemná. S kolegou jsme dorazili přesně ve 12:00. Objednali jsme si jídlo i pití. Polévku jsme dostali, ale když měl následovat hlavní chod, bylo mi sděleno, že mé jídlo už není k dispozici a musím si vybrat jiné. Chápu, že se něco může vyprodat, ale v takto časnou hodinu a při zadání objednávky by si to obsluha měla ověřit dřív než za 15 minut.

Jídlo jsem nakonec dostal, ale kolega stále čekal. Talíř po mně stál na stole 15 minut prázdný, aniž by si ho někdo všiml. Až pak byl s nepříjemným výrazem odnesen, bez jakékoliv otázky, zda bylo vše v pořádku nebo zda si přejeme ještě něco dalšího. Po dalších 10 minutách se paní servírka přišla zeptat, co si dáme, a až tehdy zjistila, že kolega stále čeká na hlavní chod. Její reakce „Vážně?“ byla poslední kapkou. Žádná omluva, žádné vysvětlení.

Přitom restaurace nebyla ani zdaleka plná — cca 10 hostů. Podobná situace se nestala jen nám, během oběda jsme byli svědky dalších zmatků. Ačkoliv věřím, že podnik má potenciál a dříve jsem byl vždy spokojený, způsob vystupování konkrétní servírky a nedbalost v obsluze bohužel kazí celkový dojem.

Děkuji za dosavadní zkušenosti, ale nyní už dávám přednost jiným podnikům v Jaroměřicích. Opera si reputaci zaslouží zpět, ale musí si pohlídat personál, který ji zbytečně sráží dolů. Pokud mohu připojit doporučení, paní Procházkovou bych osobně velmi zvážil na této pozici a v kontaktu s hosty obecně. Přístup, jaký jsme zažili, bohužel neodpovídá tomu, co od restaurace tohoto...

Well, what to say other than RUN. We booked this hotel for 1 night and truly the worst experience we have ever had.

First of all, the reception staff is very rude, which is always so sad when literally you had one job, greet clients with a smile. Some training is much needed here. Second of all, the room is DIRTY, the walls are ripped and stained, the drapery is stained as well, and the bedding has stains as well. Never ever had I take off the bedding because of the dirtiness.

My advice, just don't. Save your money because this hotel is not worth any...
