The only good points of this hotel are the breakfast (quite extensive) and that it's situated on the skislope.||||But: the personel is unkind, unsmiling. The beds have a hard wooden board, I woke up several times during the night all sore (and I'm used to living 4 weeks at a row caming with only an inflatable matrass without any problems). In stead of a normal duvet they folded a quilt and put it in a duvet cover: (heavy to warm and not looking clean). The sanitary looked old and was a bit leeky. The carpet looked dirty. T||||||The food is simple (but not bad) and cheap.||||You have to take in account that you have to park your care in the village (100 - 200 kronen for 5 days) and than will have to go up with a scooter (400 kronen for 1 or 2 persons - 800 for 3 or 4). ||If you want to eat or spent time in the village (real good in AndEl) then you have to buy a nightskiing ticket (80 for a oneway) and cross an unlightned forest path (quite easy to do) or you have to go up by scooter.||||The lifts close at 16:00 (for night skiing they open again at 18:00 and...
Read moreI can not judge a hotel in terms of how I sleep in it, that's what happened to me: a month earlier I booked a stay for a few days for 4 people (top ski season - end of december), in the day of arrival (we are already on the way) I open the mailbox and see the e-mail from booking.com that my reservation was cancelled by hotel. I was shocked. Call hotel for explanation, they told that was some problem with payment or something like that. I said that was whole month for this, and they had all my contact details so why they cancelled my visit few hours before arrival, without any earlier information !? I informed that we are on the way and will be there in few hours. I did not receive a meaningful answer, only that reservation is already not possible.||For the first time I met something like that. It is known that in the peak period of the ski season, it is practically impossible to book a hotel from day to day.||I will not be reserving accommodation with them anymore and not recommend this...
Read moreLocation is absolutely fantastic, it has a great view from the terrace and during the night you can see the stars.
The lady at the reception was absolutely amazing, super friendly and ready to help with everything. Looked like she is doing everything around there, also always refilling the breakfast plates, bringing drinks, food and everything. Breakfast had all you could want as well.
They have a restaurant as well, and the food in the restaurant is a must try :)
There is a 200 CZK national park fee you need to pay to enter the area. This is not from them, but from the Czech National Park. You can pay it at a machine at the bottom of the hill, right next to the main skiing place. You will get all instructions in the email, just follow them, as they are really...
