Kolínská Bouda — Hotel in okres Trutnov

Very poor food & service.|Ordered Mushroom soup and was told it contained no eggs, only to find egg floating in it everywhere. When I took the soup back the waiter said there is only a little bit! And when questioned about food allergies he shrugged his shoulders. |After asking for the money back he literally threw the 100kc note back at me.|I returned to the queue which seemed to be working from all directions and no correct queue or order. I ordered a sausage with bread and the same waiter said "We don't have any". Only to see 3 other people receive sausages. |My Son had beef goulash which was extremely overpriced and seemed that the meat was 2 or 3 days only and just heated in a microwave.|If you walk an extra 300 meters there is a smaller restaurant with much better food and service. We stayed in Kolíská Bouda for škola v přírode with 65 children and 10 adult teachers. The service and accomodation were amazing and excellent. The staff was so patient with the children, very kind, always happy to help. We were so happy with the quality of their service and their positive attitudes. The rooms were very nice, the restaurant and food were delicious, the sauna was super, and all of the activities for the children were perfect. Prominent location between Black hill and Pec makes "Kolínská" one of the most visited mountain huts in area. And it is not wasting of time at all to stop there. They offer tasty daily and evening menus for still reasonable cost, hot soups for cross-country skiers and their Pilsner Urquell is qite good. And they do have very fine special APA on tap from "Volt" brewery. (I think it has the same owner.) Accommodation is nice and stylish, there is a superb indoor pool and really absolutely amazing outside...
