This hotel is situated in the grounds of the of the Safari Park in Dvur Kravlove (about 2 hours drive north of Prague) and your hotel room price includes free entrance to the Park. Although clearly designed for families with young children we took our daughter and boyfriend (in their 20s) to the hotel for a treat as we all love animals. The hotel itself was clean, spacious rooms with a great view of the park. The facilities were better than expected with good shower, comfy bed, your own veranda and chairs.||Personally we would recommend going into town for dinner as the hotel meals are fairly basic, but again this is designed for kids not adults! Hotel has a pool which is secluded from the park visitors and feels very safe. Sleeping with the windows open (it was hot - 38C) was great and you could wake in the middle of the night to hear various animals calling to one another. Would also thoroughly recommend the "night Safari" which, although only commentated in Czech,...
Read moreWe stay reguralry in the ZOO Dvur Kralove and we change fairly the hotel and the camp. We stay always in the bungalow in the camp. The accommodatioon is luxury, with the grill at disposal and with the close contact with the animals in ZOO. Especially childrens really love it. There is the pool, the jacuzzi and the children playgroung inside the camp. The minus of the stay is missing light on the terrace (however we understand it may disturb the animals) - it is difficult to prepare the grilled dinner if you have no light around. And the other minus is full breakfast room, where is definitely impossible to fit all the geusts in. It is not really the matter of the camp but for the info of the travellers - the restaurant is really poor, if you want to eat outside, it´s better to go to the town. But - all these minuses are in fact cancelled by the atmosphere of this beautiful place. Come there, especially with the children, they will be more...
Read moreSuper nice, cozy rooms. You get free bottled water, tea and coffee (tea kettle included). When you're done lying in the world's best hotel beds to ever exist, feel free to visit the zoo, even after hours (until 10PM). All included in the price. Walking around a zoo with no one around is honestly amazing. The WiFi is a bit s**tty at times and you should definitely AVOID the "U Lemura" Fastfood, which is less than stellar. Do try one of the African specialities there, though! The chicken with coconut milk is just amazing. No idea whether they speak English because I'm a local, but there's signs in English everywhere and the menus are translated as well, so I think it shouldn't be too bad. Book this place right now, because it very quickly sells out. Hotel Safari is very close to becoming a...
