Small but perfectly formed as we say 🙂 Lovely little campsite, with everything you need for your stay. The owners are friendly and really take pride in their little site. It's a great place for travelling into Prague, with a bus and tram stop literally just round the corner. It was also nice and quiet at night, probably because it's a small site, and the strict rules about silence after 10:30 pm - which was fantastic for me, as I'm a very light sleeper, so I got some good nights sleep. We also felt very safe, because of all the security measures. We loved our short stay, and if we visit Prague again (which I hope), we will definately be booking a pitch here again. If you are in a larger motorhome etc, then sadly, you are probably too big to access this site properly, but the owners ask for vehicle measurements with the booking, so they will make you aware of this, if you are too large for the site. Regarding price, we ended up paying approx. €28 per night for 2 people in a motorhome, including electricity, in July, so main season. There are no extra/hidden costs for showers, or for water etc, the toilets and everything is perfectly clean, with toilet roll and soap (even in the shower) free to use. We don't have any form of air conditioning etc in our motorhome, but when it's hot (it was around 30°) we prefer to run the fridge on electricity, as it works best that way, and with meat in the fridge for barbequeing, that's important. If we hadn't needed the electricity for the fridge, we wouldn't have booked it, as approx. €4 per day isn't cheap. I prefer it when electricity is measured (and paid for) by the amount you use, because we use very little. But that was our choice, and we didn't have to hook up, and €4 per day isn't the most we've ever had to pay, so all's good. All in all, really good little campsite, who do a lot for their guests, so definately...
Read moreSmall but well run camping site. Plots are not large, but have easy access to water. Grey water discharge at the entrance: exit is usually by the other end, so may be easier to empty on arrival? Very clean amenities, including use of a microwave, electric stovetop: as far as I could tell, these are only accessible via stairs, though. Cash Euros and CZK accepted for groceries available in office, use of washer and dryer etc. Drinks vending machine takes CZK coins. Payment for stay can be by card. Lots of apple trees on site, so when in season there are plenty to eat, but they make a bit of noise when they fall on top of your camper! :-) During our visit there was a lot of activity in the softball fields not far away and the shouts/music from that was audible all day and into the night. Usually stopped by 10 to 11pm, however. Getting into the city is easy via the tram stop around the corner. Tickets can be purchased in camping office, machines on the trams, or through the PID Litacka app. Operator/owners very nice - Would...
Read moreThis relatively small campsite is fantastic, with decent size pitches, we have a 6m campervan, the particular pitch we chose, we just got in with the length, but there were other longer pitches.||There are modern, very clean toilets and showers, x2 for males and x2 for females. Great pressure in the showers and the water is hot. There is also 2 sinks to wash your pots etc and recycling bins, even a small bin to put used batteries. There's also washing machines. ||You can order bread rolls for the following morning and there are a few essentials you can buy from reception.||The site is only a 2 minute walk from the tram stop which takes you right in to Prague City, at a cost of approximately €1.00 per trip, each and they are very regular. The tram ride in takes around 15 minutes. ||The service from the gentleman in reception is very good and with a smile, he also speaks good English.||We had a great 3 days here and I would highly ...
