LARGE ACRYLIC FINGERNAIL IN MY FOOD

Still reeling... 🤢 ....

My wife and I sat down on the patio. We were promptly served (and they brought a water dish for our dog). So far, service was great.

We ordered two waters, two cappuccinos, bruschetta, the pork tenderloin special, and a veal schnitzel.

The bruschetta and drinks came out and we began drinking our coffees and started to dig into the bruschetta.

On my third or fourth bite, I CRUNCHED into someone's acrylic nail which apparently had fallen off into the bruschetta.

I nearly vomited. Seriously, how does this happen??? the acrylic finger nail was mixed into the tomatoes; it was not on the side or top of the plate. I have made large-batch bruschetta before. The tomatoes acid pretty much required you wear gloves for your own comfort, even though they should be wearing gloves for sanitary reasons alone.

This has been the most unsettling and disgusting thing I have experienced at a restaurant in a long time. I am still feeling ill (this happened about an hour ago).

We cancelled the rest of the orderand offered to pay for our waters and coffees. The wait staff was sincerely apologetic and let us leave without paying for anything. Good on them. I still feel gross. And my tooth is...

Today friday I visit with my husband for late dinner before 7:40pm. There are many people there..I can expect serving will be a bit late..I ordered 1apetizer and 2soups and 2main dishes. after 40min I got apetizer and soup in order..when I got soups I asked I need main menu before I finish this soup..waiter said it is ok. But later even it passed 30min main dish wasn't served..when I asked to blonde hair waitress we already waited long time..how long it takes..she said so arrogant and unkind.."so you still want menu or cancel"...I was upset from that point..how I can cancel after long waiting...she said in 7min...I said ok..but later again 15min passed and 9:15pm I got this black burnt spagetti in almost black green olive oil as you see..I was very hungry..but I couldnt it all..when Asian waitress come and see it..she said so sorry...she was normal and kind person..even she was not the person on charge for my table..she said she will ask what she can do for me..even small discount..finally they offered me 15% discount and no charge for this black burt spagetti...but the big point is not money for this..I wasted my time and they ruined my precious friday night qith my husband... Good Italian restaurant. Okay prices for Prague but I guess you can have better price for that quality and hopefully better Italian food for same or less. Pizza was okay, well prepared but the ingredients could be nicer like better quality, real ham instead of toast ham. Had better crust too. Handmade pasta was all al dente that's what you can ask for, the ragu good but not special. Beer is only draft Stella. Okay but in a beer country like CZ I'd enjoy some quality small brewery beer or classic Pilsen. To sum it up: good Italien Restaurant, trying to be high quality and price but not really making the cut. If you're around (e.g zoo) try it but don't drive here especially for it. Good with kids (they can watch the pizza chef prepare it) and you can...
