When we booked Pension Atmosfera in Loket, we were expecting a charming stay in the heart of an old cotadel in the Czech Republic. What we didn't expect was to meet Radek, the local legend, who single-handedly transformed our stay into an extraordinary adventure!

From the moment we arrived, Radek's hospitality was off the charts. Picture this: a waiter by day and a hospitality hero by night, this man juggles serving tables and charming guests with the finesse of a standup comedian. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he also moonlights as a superhero!

Radek welcomed us with a smile that could outshine the sun. Need tips on the best local spots? Radek's got you covered. Want to know the secret ingredient in that mouthwatering goulash? Radek's your guy (though he might playfully refuse to spill the beans). Whether he was recommending hidden gems or sharing hilarious stories, Radek made sure our stay was filled with laughter and joy.

The restaurant at Pension Atmosfera is a culinary wonderland, and guess who's the star of the show? Yep, Radek. His skills as a waiter are second to none. It's like watching a maestro conduct an orchestra, only this maestro is delivering scrumptious dishes and ensuring your glass is never empty.

Good restaurant, nice food. We also stayed at the pension. Spacious and clean rooms in the middle of the city centre of loket. Only main points that could be improved: The traffic situation is really unclear because of road construction. The police denied us on an agressive way access with the car to the parking P4 (only allowed for czech people apperantly) so we paid for a day ticket outside of the city center and needed to walk. It would be better to inform visitors in advance what are the possibilities to park. The main business is the restaurant, the pension is done at the side. We arrived during lunch time and they did not really have time to help us check in. Would be better to have somebody dedicated for the hotel. We have a son of 1 year, they do not really have things for children like toys to keep them busy in...

I have only eaten in the restaurant (two meals) but based on that experience, this would probably be my first choice for a room if I returned to the town.||It is well situated in the middle of the main square of this attractive town, with a cosy restaurant and a terrace on the square for warmer evenings. It lives up to its name with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly and efficient service. Both the meals we had were very good, with tender well cooked meat and I can recommend the hot raspberries with ice cream as a dessert. Prices are reasonable - we paid about CzK600 for main course & dessert for two including drinks. ||It has probably changed ownership recently as it was listed previously under another name.
