Lavilla Guesthouse — Hotel in Copenhagen Municipality

Very nice guest house, located in a residential safe area, not far from the metro to the airport and to the city centre||- Clean room and nice facilities, beautiful private terrace||- Comfortable beds||- Very kind staff, very friendly and helpful||-The bathroom was way too small. The sink was too small to wash your face/teeth/etc. Plus the water was working only when your hands where under the sink, which made the washing process difficult. The light in bathroom was automatic and was switching it off despite the fact you were using it or not||- I know prices in Copenhagen are quite high, but I found the price of the accommodation too high as well. For a room in a guest house (with shared bathroom) we paid the same as in a 4 star hotel in other countries||- It would be good to make the payment by credit card, in order to avoid...

Clean, smaller than expected but was ok. Nice communal patio area with BBQ. ||Got hot at night due to being close to road so couldn’t have window open (traffic noise)||Owner helpful ||Rooms not very sound proof - next doors alarm woke me every day at 5.30 but I am a light sleeper out of 5 nights I really only slept well for 1 of them but that’s not necessaryily all down to accommodation ||||15min brisk walk to metro station (accommodation is just 2 stops from the airport so really easy)||25min brisk walk to quiet beach area ||5min walk to supermarket ||||Area felt safe & there is an outer door only accessible by guests via code & this leads to all individual locked rooms however this wasn’t always shut properly (twice we found it left open by guests) ||||Absolutely perfect location for anyone doing...

Spent 5 weeks during Christmas season at this lovely place and felt comfortable and safe at all times. Did our own shopping and cooking, met many very nice people and were well looked after by the couple owning the place. Very comfortable beds, handy use of a common kitchen if need be, easy to ask questions and get helpful advise and answers, bus and metro transport to all of Copenhagen and area. We are 2 elderly adults and did not encounter any problems at all - hoping to return...
