Faaborg Byferie — Hotel in Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality

These first floor studios or small appartments are really little more than hotel rooms with bathroom and rudimentary kitchen facilities. Nevertheless we found the place quite nice and suitable for a low budget one night accomodation - in fact, we would gladly have stayed more nights and I can easily see us coming back.||We arrived just as an hour long power failure had struck the entire town of Faaborg. However, in spite of these difficulties, the one person staff was able to handle check-in relatively smoothly.||Beds were soft but fine, bathroom a bit cheapish but absolutely functional. Visited Fåborg over Easter, stayed at Faaborg byferie for three nights with my husband. The location is excellent in the middle of the town. We arrived late which was absolutely fine, we found the keys in a locked box on the second floor. ||||Our room was located towards the street and town square with a charming view. The beds were comfortable, and the tv had a good selection of tv channels. The Byferie offers everything you would need in an inexpensive hotel, but without all the unnecessary pretence,comfortable spacious rooms with rudimentary kitchens, quite adequate for basic cooking.||The proprietor is very charming and accommodating, it was off season and consequently quite quiet, parking was available. The rooms although dated in style were comfortable with sofa, table chairs, TV (cable) etc. The weather was beginning to cool down and the room was nice and cosy, we could have stayed for much longer than the two days we enjoyed.
