Fanø Night & Stay — Hotel in Fanø Kommune

Basic accommodation- friendly and helpful manager but this is like going into a time warp. The rooms lack some of the basics that you might expect in hotels these days- eg a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, tissues, kettle etc. The shower on our room was adequate but certainly not luxurious. |However, the quiet location is only 15 mins walk from the ferry and the rooms do have en-suite bathrooms ( unlike many hotels on the island). The hotel needs some investment to smarten it up. I understand it was an old naval barracks and it needs to shake of that image in order to offer 21st century...

The rooms are small but nice and the people working there are very friendly. The bathrooms however are quite old and could use some renovation. It is a fairly big hotel with a lot of rooms and large common areas.|The website could also be improved with more information about checkin time, how the key pickup works, if there are special prices for kids and if it possible have an extra bed for kids....
