We stayed in the First Camp Råbjerg Mile for a weekend in June and had a great time. We booked a Skagenshytte Plus for 6 people. There were four of us in the cabin and we enjoyed our stay.||The cabin was located in the centre of the complex near the reception, but was shielded by trees and greenery. We could park our car next to our cabin and the cabin had an outside area with table and chairs. Inside, the cabin had a kitchen area with hob and oven, a fridge and kitchen sink with running water. There were two bedrooms (one with a small double bed, one with bunk beds) and an upstairs mezzanine with two single beds. The lounge area had a dining table, a sofa and a TV. The cabin also had a hot water shower too.||Clean and pleasant, the cabin was perfect for us. The site also has a big childrens play area, a tennis court, a football pitch (asphalt), a small outdoor pool and a small indoor pool. Bicycles were available to rent and there was a mini golf near the site entrance. A shop at reception was open from 0800-2000 and had supplies, snacks and fresh bread. There are also electric car charging facilities on site too.||The best thing about the First Camp Råbjerg Mile though is the surrounding area with amazing beaches and the briliant Råbjerg Mile sand dune nearby.||Staying here really helped us explore and experience everything that Skagen...
Read moreUnfortunately we only spent one night in this wonderful place among the trees and close to the beach and sand dunes. This is a campground where all the tents or trailers or camper vans have beautiful spots and a lot of privacy .Actually each spot has huge edges all around.||We stayed in a cabin that would fit 6 people. Incredible how comfortable it was .Well we were only two,but the bathroom was big enough to have a nice shower and a window .||The two bedrooms on the ground floor had windows and storage while the third could be reached from the lounge by a wooden ladder and was right under the roof.It would be the perfect place for teenagers. The kitchen fully equipped had a huge fridge with freezer and 4 electric stove burners.||Very nice the terrace .||We arrived late because of a delayed ferry but they have been very nice to wait for us at the reception for more...

We had looked around and we saw great camping places next to the playground, from where we could see our young girl playing but those were "reserved" for caravans and we couldn't use them with a tent. Even though we offered to pay for it. The rules was that only caravans could use those places. For us this seemed quite strange since it were about 10 places that no one was using, why be so strict that only caravans can use that place and no tents? All the other places were just too far from the playgrounds for our little one. So, not at all a bad place, but too strict for us, we have found another...
