Gentofte Hotel — Hotel in Gentofte Municipality

Rooms are outdated. Bathroom was small, with shower curtain only, after shower whole floor was wet. Carpet floor had stains, beds were very soft and uncomfortable. No fridge and no wardrobe so I had to use chairs and suitcase to manage somehow. Paper thin walls so you heard all neighbours and the best part was a piece of plumbing from room upstairs coming out from ceiling/wall connection. So you were able to hear very well when your neighbour is taking bio brake. Breakfast was ridiculous, very small choice, from warm food there was only boiled eggs. No scrambled eggs, no bacon or sausage. If you eat sweet/small breakfast then choice could be just a bit better. Staff was ok. Overall picture was bad, I suppose to spend 5 nights there, but managed to spend only one, however due to late checkout (had to go to office and arrange cancelation through travel agency) I had to pay for two nights. I'm able to understand that, but is that a long play strategy? I don't know. I just know that if you want to spend your stay comfortable, this shouldn't be your choice. Rooms: There is smell coming from rooms toilet... There is no ac or proper ventilation in room

Service is horrible. :) I visited many many hotels and they have worst service. People who are in reception they are acting like you hurt them so badly or steal their some belongings 😀 Only one receptionist was very nice thanks god. Rest is big no. They gave us these 200 dkk cards to use and forgot to inform we should use one card per day. (Not sure really what is the difference for them) we had last day still 4 cards full (800dkk). We basically couldn't use them and of course receptionist was rude and 0 smile policy continuing. Isn't it a surprise?

Nice hotel. Clean rooms but differences in bathrooms. Some bathrooms are way too small. The shower curtain touches the toilet and sink at the same time. But nevertheless, it's clean and that's important.

Reception is nice but seemed undermanned at first. We were busy checking in and the guy from the reception answered the phone twice while we were talking. There is no bar, but you can get a drink at the reception and drink it in the lobby.

Just be carefull if you take a seat in the couch. That one is extremely comfortable and hard to get out of. :)
