Two adults and two children (10 and under) stayed three(3) nights for $500 USD including taxes. Onsite parking is included. Breakfast is available for a fee, but we did not partake and cannot comment. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful on check-in and over the three days. Common areas were very clean in spite of on-going renovations. Room was exceptionally clean. The laminate floor passed my white-sock test with 9.5/10.Both beds were comfortable...even the sofa bed. ||Location: |The hotel is located 10km north-west of downtown Copenhagen:|The expressway/motorway is around 1.5 km away, making the airport barely a 20 minute drive and Malmo is less than one hour away. By car, downtown Copenhagen is a 20 minute drive and 35 minutes by train. The Herlev train station is a 10 minute walk. Travelers using public transportation, exclusively and with luggage, may find this location a bit far if Copenhagen is their only destination.|*We had a rental car and found it to be absolutely perfect.||Shopping:|Within 200meters (yards), there is a super-market as well as several dining options, cafes and shops. ||Parting Comment: I wrote the draft of this review before checking out. All the positive comments were already going to be included. However, the staff went above and beyond expectation, when I left a phone in the room. I did not realize the mistake until we were at the airport. After notifying the hotel, staff promptly arranged a courier service to ship it to our US home (we paid via credit card). Quick story; Day 1 (22.09.2022)- we speak via a phone about accomodation for 3 person for 3 nights and price. Answer is "Yes room is available and the price is 160 € per night". We accept the ofer go to hotel and make payment 480€ Day 2 (23.09.2022) - all good Day 3 (24.09.2022) - around noon we received phone call "Why we didn't check out?!", Answer is "becouse we took hotel for 3 nights". After work we speak with receptionist and she CONFIRMED THAT EVRYTHING IS OK checking hotel system.... UNFORTUNATELY NO!!!
Day 4 (25.09.2022) -. after breakfast we want to check out and another lady stopped me and ask to pay for one more night?!? Becouse THE SYSTEM says it was paid only for two nights. I tried to explain that few hours ago everything was good and now SYSTEM dont see payment?! Ok I make one more transfer ~280€ , check out and go to work.
After work we came back to reception becouse we wanted to make sure if noone made a mistake somewhere. We meet again l receptionist that said on the third day afternoon "everything is ok" and another person. We try to explain that something might be wrong, that we agreed but for different price, but there is nothing that hotel can do for us anymore.

Read moreTo start with the good: the red headed woman who works at the desk is wonderful and gets a 5 star review on her own. She’s the reason that there were 3 stars for service instead of 1.
The hotel itself is kind of out of the way but easy to get to via public transit. The hotel has no air conditioning which is not great, but even worse, they only have incredibly heavy covers and crummy fans that barely move the air.
Additionally, whoever was working the evening shift during our stay needs to be retrained. A fan was requested 2-3 hours before the desk closed but we did not return to the hotel until after the desk closed that night. No fan was delivered. Apparently that’s not uncommon because a fan was delivered the next morning “just in case” one hadn’t been delivered the night before. Even worse, we had luggage that was not on the correct flight and it was delivered while we were out the following day and a request was left directly with our red headed friend to make sure that the bag was delivered properly. Guess what didn’t happen? One more night without our luggage and the next morning when we went downstairs to get it, our red headed friend apologized and said that she had personally passed on the note about delivering the bag.
The hotel is probably super cozy in the winter but they need better fans and summer blanket options as well as a better trained evening...
