The interior is a perfect blend between traditional and contemporary paying homage to the region of Punjab. Rich, earthy tones, beautiful woodwork and soft lighting create a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The tasteful decor, featuring traditional Indian artwork and elegant table settings, adds to the overall charm.
The menu is equally impressive . Variety of options available for vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences. The starters set the tone beautifully. The "Paneer Tikka" was marinated to perfection, with a smoky flavor that melted in the mouth.
For the main course, the "Butter Chicken" stood out with its velvety tomato and cream sauce, perfectly balanced and mildly spiced. The "Palak Paneer" was another highlight, with creamy spinach and soft paneer cubes making for a comforting dish. The "Biryani" was fragrant and well-cooked, with each grain of rice flavorful and aromatic.
The naan bread was superb specially the garlic naan. Fresh and Baked to perfection. For desert, I went for the classic Indian dessert “gulab jamun”. Perfect end to a three course meal.
The service was at par with the rest. The staff is very attentive, friendly and courteous. Even the owner came out to see us off.
Great restaurant, great food and service. Best value...
Read moreWe were very underwhelmed to be honest. The food used to be much better but has taken a downward path the last few times we have eaten here. Yesterday was disappointing across all the dishes with the exception of the lamb kebabs that tasty, properly seasoned and well caramelised from the tandoor. While they were a bit on the smaller side, they were the highlight of our meal. Unfortunately it went downhill from there; the chicken lollipops were cold - which was then corrected, well somewhat; They came back warm but our guess had been that they went into a microwave because they appeared almost steamed instead of crispy. The murgh malai tikka was beautifully charred from the tandoor, but no season and the consistency was mush from overuse of meat tenderiser. Surprisingly, they managed to screw up the onion bhaji - they were dense balls of chickpea flour. The curries were passable, and the naan was surprisingly good, but the rumali roti seemed more like an oversize tortilla and didn’t have the incredible, thin, limp and unique texture. Our meal boiled down to a thoroughly underwhelming experience and I think we’ve eaten our last...
Read moreThe most pathetic Indian food I have had in Denmark. Been living in Denmark for last 8 years and I have not had such a bad experience ever. The below pictures will justify that. I had to spit out the food I was having. The Garlic nan was not cooked properly and it had a weird smell. The Butter Chicken curry had a weird taste and not edible. The disappointment started with ordering their over priced sizzler. The presentation of the food was absent compared to the other places I have had. The taste was blant and dull. No salt. Then their main course was even more pathetic. To my dismay I had a stomache upset right in the hotel. The only edible thing was their biryani and raita. Huge disappointment, will strongly recommend to avoid the restaurant. We left most of the food, garlic nan and the butter...
