Hotel Harmonien — Hotel in Lolland Municipality

The hotel was clean and quiet. It is non-smoking but allows smoking outside in designated area where there’s also chairs.||It has a A La Carte restaurant and a buffet restaurant. The buffet was not warm and not refilled. Only afterwards, we were made aware it was due to the hour we had arrived and the restaurant would close soon. Yet, other guests arrived after us. ||Breakfast was included, and the buffet was continental with fresh breads, different types of spreads and cheese, and one type of egg -one of the mornings they had ran out of eggs. There were tea and coffee, but no decaf coffee!||The double-bedroom is really a twin room. It had a conventional key. It was on first floor and no view. It had a nice sofa and coffee table, desk w chair and floor spacious for suitcases. No wardrobe. The beds were two single beds and had no grip on the floor so easily slid away from the wall. The mattresses very soft, feels a bit like I was lying like a V (lol). ||The bathroom had plenty of toilet tissue, a hair dryer, and a bath towel and hand towel for each person. There were hand soap and shampoo but no conditioner.||The room had a kettle and coffee (again no decaf) and paper cups and I think there were biscuits too. We were given a room in the new wing which seem newly renovated so everything was new and modern. There was a small 3 persons elevator. As it was summer, it was somewhat hot in the room. So we opened the windows. However it was very noisy even at midnight. There were lots of noise from passing traffic and people still out and about as it was only the second floor. Early morning there was noise from the garbage truck or something. So we did not have good sleep.|Amenities was average. No fridge. Never again!

Reception is always closed - no matter when you come. If you lock the door - everyone will notice. You like Techno music - wait for the ventilation in the backyard the whole night. You like different emotions - take a shower turning warm and cold in seconds. You like a 3 star standard - better go to Pakistan. You want to sleep - go somewhere else.

A big Company in the city warned us to stay here - now I know why.

It was an expensive experience. Luckily just for one night and never again.
