Lovely hotel with 60's flair and oriental touch. You feel like in an old movie or a Gambit/Mad Men series. Room with a balcony was modern and renovated. Breakfast buffet was very tasty. We were especially surprised about the children room with many toys. If you walk a bit north there are several secluded beaches with a lovely view. Hotel owner was very nice and approachable. Some suggestions for the hotel: - some parts really need renovation - other hotels where we stayed offered possibility to take breakfast to the room - we were a bit uncomfortable looking at how many people were sitting next to each other at the breakfast and got stressed about the Covid risk - Telephone Booth is used as a storage right now while it could be a nice place for Video Calls - Shower at the pool area doesn't work - I understand that restaurant is gourmet but there are no other lunch options in the area - it would be great if they could offer something that makes you full eg club sandwich for lunch

The main problem with this beach hotel is that one does not want to leave again. If weather permits, the garden - beach - forrest is picture perfect for relaxation, recreation, and swimming in the ocean. If the weather is grumpy, there are plenty of cosy lounge areas with beautiful and comfy, quality furniture to relax in, and an indoor pool area. Staff is annoyingly helpful, friendly, and competent, also making you want to stay. The restaurant with its impossibly beautiful ocean views serves a high quality breakfast, and during evenings (we did not try the lunch) delish, gourmet, comfort food based on ultra local ingredients, and it can compete with its neighbour gourmet restaurant and cozy Rudolf Mathis in Kerteminde nearby. Some Copenhagen food critics have recently been rather harsh in their reviews of their evening experiences in the restaurant. We think they had too much vinegar in their 5 o'clock cocktails on the day of their visit, and that this influenced their reviews...

Amazing, friendly staff. An upscale hotel where you don’t have to be embarrassed to bring children 🙏 Extremely friendly, competent and service minded team all the way through from reception to waiters. Great food and for once a children’s menu that has actual quality food and not just frozen junk nuggets etc😄 The owner was there when we visited creating a fun atmosphere and making us feel welcome. Travelling alone with a a small child it was such a friendly gesture for him to offer ice cream to my son making him feel very special. What a warm and friendly five star hospitality experience. Keep up the good work 🙏 Will be back.

I was looking forward to our stay here, it was out most expensive accommodation for a 3 week trip. It was horrible. The check in girl was nice, but after that it went down hill. The room was a sauna. It was horribly hot so we thought we would just open the windows and get some air. Unfortunately it was surrounded by huge spiders and no screen to stop them from coming in. My husband killed a few in 1 window so we could open it for a few minutes but even he wasn’t getting near the big one (pic). No other resolution when we came to the front desk to tell them our room was so hot. Decided that well- if we are going to be hot we might as well enjoy our evening in the hot tub (a big reason we booked here) - but alas, it was cold. Again, no resolution for that from the front desk. They also don’t have towels down at the spa/pool area which was very odd- and if you didn’t look on the floor of the closet in your room under the slippers, you wouldn’t have known that’s where the towel is that you are supposed to take with you (we found it as we were leaving). ||It has a fridge, which was essential for us and a deciding factor (meds that need refrigerated) - but it didn’t work. Come morning, everything is warm and destroyed. ||We didn’t sleep well at all with the room so hot (it had to be at least 75f, 24c in there). Packed up and went to grab breakfast just before 9am. Was a breakfast buffet. The fruit and bread were good. Hot food wasn’t hot or the container was empty, so if you plan to have hot food you apparently need to go much earlier. It was nice to finally see the ocean though during breakfast since our room overlooked the roof and parking lot. ||We stayed in a 1bedroom apartment in downtown Copenhagen for half the cost of this place and it was far more comfortable. Maybe in the winter this place would be good when you need it warm inside. But in the summer (even when it’s not very hot outside) it is just far too hot inside the room without the AC working. The amenities are broken and need updated. The old tv remote was so large and heavy you could kill someone if you hit them in the head with it. ||Told the front desk all the problems and disappointment when we left in the morning. They didn’t seem to care. I highly suggest you move on. There has to be far better places than this at a...

My recent stay at this hotel was truly impressive across multiple aspects. The accommodations exceeded my expectations, starting with the spacious and immaculately clean rooms that provided a comfortable and relaxing environment.

The dining experience was a standout feature. The dinner was exceptional, showcasing high-quality cuisine that would rival top restaurants. Complementing this was an incredibly generous breakfast spread that offered a wide variety of options to start the day right.

What truly elevated the entire experience was the staff. Their politeness and helpfulness were remarkable, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction that made the stay even more enjoyable. From check-in to check-out, every interaction was pleasant and professional.

Highlights:

Spacious, clean rooms Exceptional dinner Extensive breakfast buffet Incredibly helpful and polite staff

Highly recommended for travelers looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and high-quality hotel experience.

Note: We did not use the pool and sauna, but looked...
