The Hotel is more in keeping with a Motel style. It's cute and well maintained. The staff is friendly and ready to help. The overall layout of the rooms are cute and a decent size for two people. However, the restaurant menu for the hotel is too extravagant (and expensive) for the guests that stay there. The hotel doesn't have air conditioning or provide a fan to circulate the air. Which was unfortunate because it was a little warmer when we were staying there. The room I was staying in was close to a tree that housed bees. Unlike my family who was able to open their windows to circulate the air, I was unable to open the main windows which would have made a difference in the air temperature in the room. While the pillows and bed appear comfortable, for me it felt like I was in a hospital bed. The only saving grace was the bathtub, which was a very nice size to sit in and relax. I really did like the style of the bathroom. It was very unique. Finally, while the staff does a decent job cleaning (they have the rooms cleaned pretty quickly) they do not get rid of bugs ie dead spiders from prior guest stays. I wouldn't say the experience was bad, but there is room for improvement. This hotel is good for cooler weather and...
Read moreI recently stayed at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by its cleanliness and serene atmosphere. While the rooms are a bit on the smaller side, they are well-kept and comfortable. One suggestion for improvement would be to update the carpets to eliminate any lingering old carpet smell.
Keep in mind that the hotel's location may not be the most convenient; getting around requires a bike or taxi. I opted for taxis to attend the badminton tournament at Jyske Bank Arena, which added up, so budgeting for transportation is wise. On the bright side, there's a grocery store and gas station within walking distance, making it easy to grab any supplies you might need.
The area is delightfully quiet, ensuring a peaceful stay free from noise disturbances. Parking is ample, which is a bonus.
The real highlight for me was the staff—they were exceptionally helpful and friendly, making my experience all the more enjoyable. And don’t miss out on the complimentary breakfast! It exceeded my expectations with a fantastic variety of high-quality options. Overall, a great stay with a few minor areas for...
Read moreNext door to a petrol station on a busy road it doesn't promise much but it's better than to be expected. Rooms are nice with two single beds pushed together which are comfortable and as a single traveller it was good for me. Big TV on the wall that swings out so you can watch it from either bed or sofa. Nice big clean bathroom with bath and shower. I found the room cold but plenty of covers so I was okay. I haven't eaten here in the evening as very expensive and typical hotel food, lots of fancy bits and pieces. Breakfast is okay if you don't eat meat or fish but if you do even better, I don't so a but if a struggle. Nothing hot to eat apart from boiled egg (very nice and soft) coffee really isn't that good (mt great bugbear) why can't a hotel have nice coffee? Tea and coffee in the room, nice selection of tea and one type of coffee, Nescafe, nice bathroom bits. Free Wi-Fi which is very good. If you are going to the university it's a great location but slightly out of town. But I...
