Poppelgaarden Rømø — Hotel in Tønder Municipality

We stayed in Poppelgaarden one night in the second week of June. In the middle of the night we were attacked bij hundreds of fleas in bed. We took all our stuff out immediately. The owner saw us at the courtyard and came out. Instead of giving us our money for the room back he claimed that we brought in the fleas ourselves. Impossible as we camped for a week with our own equipment and did not notice any flea before Poppelgaarden. The only thing he was willing to do was washing our sheets. We left with tens of painful flea bites and it took us a few days to get rid of the fleas. This is not the way you should treat...

STRAORDINARIO - EXTRAORDINARY L'eccellenza (come il diavolo!) sta nei dettagli...: e in questa location tutti i dettagli dicono un'attenzione costante alla qualità, che rende il soggiorno veramente eccellente. A iniziare dalle comunicazioni pre-check in, che sono inviate nella lingua dell'ospite (e per noi italiani questa è una piacevole e rara sorpresa!!), poi la squisita accoglienza, affabile e disponibilissima, da parte del proprietario (con cambio di camera al momento della consegna della chiave, solo per un 'capriccio' assecondato con gentilezza), e la cura dei piccoli particolari in una camera graziosissima, accogliente e superpulita... tutto veramente perfetto. Deve essere chiaro che non si tratta di un albergo, quindi chi necessita degli standard consueti (e sempre uguali) delle location 'strutturate' qui potrebbe rimanere spaesato... ma chi ama immergersi nella natura e avere la massima qualità in una soluzione davvero particolare adorerà questa soluzione. Excellence (like the devil!) is in the details: and in this location all the details tell a story of constant attention to quality, which makes the stay truly excellent. Starting with the pre-check in communications, which are sent in the guest's language (and for Italians this is a pleasant and rare surprise !!), then the exquisite, affable and extremely helpful welcome from the owner (with change of room 'on the spot', only for a 'whim' indulged with kindness), and the attention to small details in a cozy, welcoming and super-clean room ... all truly perfect. It must be clear that this is not a hotel, so those who need the usual (and always the same) standards of 'structured' locations here could be confused ... but those who love to immerse themselves in nature and have the highest quality in a very special solution will love this place....

Wow! Wir waren für zwei Nächte hier und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Ganz im Gegenteil: die Betreiber sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben toll übernachtet und genossen ein hervorragendes Frühstück!

Der komplex besteht aus mehreren Häusern mit jeweils einigen Zimmern. Jedes Haus hat ein WC, ein Bad und eine Gemeinschaftsküche. In jedem Zimmer befindet sich aber ein eigenes Waschbecken. Man kann sich also gut arrangieren. Die Häuser sind klassisch gehalten und haben einen tollen Charme. Es ist richtig gemütlich und draußen gibt es viele Sitzgelegenheiten.

Der Preis ist günstig, allerdings muss man das Frühstück separat buchen (115DKK/Person). Die Betonung liegt auf MUSS, denn dieses Frühstück ist einfach nur traumhaft. Brot, Brötchen, Zimtschnecken, diverse Marmeladen - alles selbstgemacht! Käse und Wurst, sowie Gemüse und Obst und Joghurt. Der gute Kaffee ist ebenfalls inklusive. Wie Tee, Säfte, Ingwer-Shot und Kakao. Es fehlte wirklich an nichts, schmeckte alles einfach nur top! Alles mit Liebe gemacht! Das Angebot variiert evtl., denn die Gastgeberin hat ein Auge darauf, was gut bei Gästen ankommt und was nicht.

Wir haben es bereut, dass wir dieses Frühstück nur einmal genossen haben. Am zweiten Tag wollten wir den ortsansässigen Bäckern eine Chance geben - ein Reinfall.

Parkplätze sind zur Genüge vorhanden und kostenfrei. Bettwäsche und Handtücher gegen Gebühr. Wir hatten eigenes mitgebracht.
