Gipsy Ranch Rooms — Hotel in La Hispaniola

My husband and I had a wonderful stay as always in this paradise for nature lovers. The rooms are very clean and in the middle of an awesome nature setting surrounded by fruit trees and many loving four legged residents who were rescued as well as many happy chickens and bunnies. The place has a wonderfull inviting roofed terrace for dining with a bar and a very nice and refreshing pool. The beach is only across the street about 5 minutes away by foot and excellent for surfing. We have come back again and again and definately recommend this place to all nature lovers and anyone needing a special time to relax away from all the noise but close enough to the city center and with an excellent service from the very nice and welcoming hosts Natalie and her daughter Cindy. What can I say about this place! Amazing! Simple! Great Price! Warm Water! and the family that owns and runs this fine place is Spectacular! We booked here for 30 Days and got a small but cute room (everything we required, maybe you want a T.V, but why go on vacation to watch T.V) We had a kitchen and even and extra bed. I am pretty sure we had a larger room! We had been upgraded for free! The family even prepared an amazing Fish dinner for us. (we caught a fish and brought it back to see if it could be prepared for us) For my style living and backpacking travel this was the place for me! I am definitely going back again! I was bitten by one of the dogs. It wasn’t a friendly bite. It was a vicious bite done completely unprompted. It broke the skin and caused bleeding. I was simply walking to my room when the dog attacked from behind. I had hoped the dog would be put away for the remainder of my stay, but it was not. Fortunately, I had begun carrying a stick with me when leaving the room because it charged again the next day. Had it not been for my threatening the dog with a large tree branch it would’ve bitten again.
