El Aplatanao Hotel — Hotel in Pedernales

We ran into Andrea "el Aplatanao" by sheer accident, and we are glad we did. Because though we did not stay in any of his four hotels (actually we stayed at Eco del Mar), we used el Aplatanao's tour services. It began with a visit to a local Dominican restaurant, which was nicely priced but with delicious food. He then offered his services and options to choose from, and I tell you we had a blast. We went to Bahía de las Águilas, something that if you go to Pedernales, you must see, stayed there for about three hours, and so did he, answering all sorts of questions we had, and then some! Andrea is definitely a wonderful host. I recommend him without reservations. To top the trip off, he took us to another very good restaurant, Dominican, and we were treated like royalties. Undoubtedly, Andrea knows his business, so much so that I am planning a return next year, and you can guess who I am going to hire for...

Hotel sito nel profondo sud della Repubblica Dominicana, ai confini di Haiti, sopra ogni aspettativa rispetto alla media di zona!!! Di recentissima costruzione, con arredi moderni e soprattutto molto molto pulito!!! dotato di ogni confort, aria condizionata in ogni camera, WiFi perfettamente funzionante, acqua continua e corrente a 110v (cose x nulla scontate in questa zona)... con possibilità del servizio ristorazione a base di cucina tipica locale! Andrea, il titolare, è una persona veramente speciale, molto attento alla cura e soddisfazione del cliente, cordiale, sempre attento e pronto a risolvere qualsiasi problematica possa presentarsi; disponibile inoltre ad organizzare e seguirvi in qualsiasi tipo di escursione voi desideriate!!! Luogo vicinissimo alla famosa e favolosa Playa di Las Aguilas e a numerose altre attrazioni locali!!! Merita altrettanta considerazione anche il suo validissimo custode "Tata" che con il suo sorriso sempre stampato sul volto ha subito conquistato la nostra simpatia lasciando un segno nel cuore di tutti noi!!! e non da meno il rapporto qualità prezzo: eccellente!!! In definitiva abbiamo conosciuto x caso questo posto ma possiamo affermare con assoluta certezza che quì la vostra vacanza è assolutamente garantita!!!...

Host, Andrea, speaks English too, this was great. He talked about local life and introduced us Dominican culture. Answered many of our questions about the country in honest way. Rooms had eveything we needed. Little noisy, from street noises, but that is more or less the same eveywhere...
