This hotel / resort is just outside the city of Puerto Plata. A small resort that has a lot more upgrades to do. Here's a breakdown of the resort and the good, bad and ugly. The beach: One of the nicer beaches in the Carribean. Water is a little rough as the wind picks up but shallow enough to stand in. White beautiful and sandy. Right beside the beach is where the locals stay and there's flagged areas for tourists and locals. Since the place is smaller, there's no need to reserve chairs or beds early in the morning. There's always a place to sit. The accommodation: The rooms were decent but a little basic. Decently comfortable beds, partly upgraded rooms. The balcony was not kept clean and no outdoor furniture. Plugs were far and few between, fridge was small but useable. The sheets and covers were a little thin, but still okay. Also, there was a chicken and a rooster that just crowed all day long. I liked that there were little houses and it wasn't one giant complex... It made it quieter and nicer to get around. The Amenities: Here's where it got little dicey. The gym was not up to date, you had to crawl under a caution tape to get to the gym. The equipment was mostly rusted and the air conditioning leaked. There's lot of construction going on there... It's definitely not completed and I'd wait until it is to even considering returning. You can see some pictures of the apocalyptic land in my review. There's no spa, the pool is pretty small, the pool area is a 'gold ball drop zone' as it's close to the course. The only thing it really had were 2 tennis courts, 1 soccer field and an old gym. The food: The accommodations included breakfast and was pretty good (though lacked variety). The service: They tried hard to give decent service but often time didnt understand us. Overall a good place to stay if you wanted something quiet to enjoy your days in the sun, However, not great for people who seaks adventures.

This establishment is false, the pictures are false and it's under renovations and construction. It's unfortunate cause will and the staff we met were terrific and so nice but the establishment and rooms and amenities itself is all a lie . The room looks like project based rooms unless you ask to be in a villa the first night the drains didn't work and the floors were brown in the room I complained due to the second night my toliet was flooded and had to move to a villa in the middle of the night. The villa was nice and comfortable the tv only in Spanish and there no Netflix, or other media, but the WiFi still didn't work in the villa the WiFi never worked it was horrible. The staff were accommodating but I had to complain in order to get the right services. The pictures you see are the condos that people brought and you can rent them out sometime on air b n b. As well as when you look on Til Tom those are the condos. The swim up bar doesn't exist is out of service and will never work. There no convention ac center you eat breakfast outside as a buffet and no center air there is a fan . Cabana are nice Cabana are nice but need to be renovated. This entire hotel is under construction and the gym you have to make reservation, its in a Construction site and looks like a hole in the wall. Beside the fraud of the establishment the workers have been helpful and was very nice and welcoming. When I complain I witness things being clean and stuff being done but it shouldn't take that! Those pictures is my friend door stop working after telling her to go back twice to reset the key literally took the whole day ‼️

Absolutely gorgeous!!! The beach access area was amazing! There were nice beach chairs and beautiful each beds with the white curtains. The beach was VERY CLEAN and not littered. They were doing AMAZING massages on the beach for $20-$30 and manicures and pedicures. I can't wait to go back to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

just now on Google Starting for all the service available when I reserved and thinking that following protocols I could hace a good time. When I arrived they informed me that no gym, no shows, no motor sports due the COVID-19 were available. Understandable IF they specify that right at the website of the reservation. I get the room anyways first thing I noticed is a lot of mosquitoes in the room. It seems common sense was not present since the gym was closed for Covid19 but the pool open were you can go and share all the fluids you normally share in a pool with a viral pandemic. I couldn’t get any information or someone to take care of the mosquitoes in my room. The front desk had nothing to say than “im sorry there’s nothing we can do”. Extremely frustrated I went back to the room and next day I returned the key very early and asked for a supervisor that supposedly shows up at 8am and never did. I send a complaint to the General Director of the Hotel Jose M Espart Alberti and the first thing he gets a defensive position complaining of why I send 5 Emails in 2 days (3 of those asking questions HE asked). Anyways on Thursday he said by Monday he will have and answer for me. Today (Tuesday) still no answer and neither I care anymore.. BEFORE YOU MAKE A RESERVATION! -Know all you have is bed and beach. -MOSQUITOES REPELLENT❗️❗️❗️❗️ -Make sure you have all info in what is included. -DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMPLAINING. 1-no one knows anything 2-mrs Jose (Director) will open an “investigation” and never gets...
