A few years ago, we visited the city of Ibarra, the city that when entering there was a message that said "White City, to which one always returns", this message always remained in my memory from the first time, because it has all the reason, its people were very friendly and a welcoming city.||||On the recommendation of several friends of my parents, we stayed at the Hotel "La Giralda", where there were several options in terms of rooms, in this case as we were my parents, my sister and I, they requested a double room and a double with an accessible cost of $ 105.00 including breakfast, sports fields. They provided all the comforts such as hot water, private bathroom, television, internet and water. For the use of the pool and whirlpool it had a cost of $ 10.00 per person; as well as the restaurant with exquisite dishes prepared by the chef of this hotel.||On this day that we arrived in the city of Ibarra, we visited some places in its surroundings and when we returned to the hotel we had a very good rest, like being at home. The next day in the morning the included breakfast was used, which was American type that contained: coffee, tea, aromatic water or chocolate plus bread, jam and butter, fried or scrambled eggs with bacon and juice. When we leave here we use the sports courts until menu time where we request a shrimp cocktail, quinoa soup and a strong grilled cutlet. and the dessert figs with cheese. That had a cost of $ 5.00 per plate.||We had a pleasant experience and highly recommended to all who are looking for a stay while visiting this...
Read moreWhat a find, great it was late on a Friday night and we were looking for a place to stay for just one night. Thanks to google mapa we found this place. When we approached we thought the place was closed, because the restaurant was closed? So we went inside and there was a lady stat the desk, as soon as she heard me speak she ran away? A different lady came and told us that she did not speak English, i said no problem i speak Spanish. So we need 2 rooms, we got 2 rooms one on the first floor and one on the second floor. Both nice spacious and clean. We needed to eat but did not want to go out looking. So we asked the lady from the front desk if she can recommend a place close by , she asked what are you looking for? Ribs salad desert and beer. I can do that for you here and you have in your room, we said ok. This possible because the rooms come with a sitting room. This gave us time to freshen up and then sit down to a meal , which was great. The staff at this place were there for us and we could not ask anymore of them. The hotel is on a busy street so traffic noise could be an issue, they have private secure parking a gym and a good deal of equipment, tennis court and a hot tub. TV in the rooms, hot water, nice towels shampoo and soap. Breakfast was typical for the area, bread cheese jam ham fresh fruit scrambled eggs coffee and fruit juice. Should we be in the area again we would love to stay there again, great place and...
Read moreJust returned from a school trip to Ecuador. STayed at this hotel for 6 miserable days. Where do I begin- nasty rooms, nasty pool, nasty food, bathrooms that smell like raw sewage. The so called pool did not receive a cleaning the entire time we were there, the bed sheets had stains and hair in them, the wait staff at the tiny restaurant was terrible, and our bus which was parked in the parking lot overnight was broken into despite the fact that it was supposedly in a "good neighborhood." I don't recommed that anyone go to Ecuador unless you must, but if you do, don't...
