The overall infrastructure of the hotel is superb: beautiful hacienda with a nice garden and a great view, with alpacas, but the price you pay compared to the service you receive is disproportionate. Service : the kitchen closes at 8pm so we had to rush for a 7:30pm meal, but this time schedule is surprising for touristic hotels the waiter (who also seemed to be acting manager of the hotel) was rude and kept scowling during the service, aggressively placing the glasses and the cutlery as we were finishing our meal, around 8:45pm, the same waiter came in the room and started moving tables in the loudest fashion possible, which we assumed was a hint that our lingering enjoyment of our dinner as clients of the hotel was a nuisance to him when we asked if it were possible to have breakfast at 7am the following morning, we were sent off in the most discourteous manner with a "8am and not before" (it ended up being served at 8:30...) Not entirely compatible with the service level you expect at these prices. at breakfast, the waiter accidentally poured scalding coffee on my lap, leading me to rush to the bathroom to control the stain damage and the heat : not a word of apology was uttered. Rooms : Cute and well decorated, with comfortable and warm beds Bathrooms are very plain : the toilet has obviously never been tested when it was assembled : if you sit on it the lid is unstable and falls on your back. This was the case in all four of the rooms we had. Towels were clean, but had stains (one with stains of ink, the other with...
Read moreVery rude and passive aggressive staff. The food portions are minuscule, when I asked a waiter (not really a waiter just one of only 2 men running the hotel) to explain what one of the deserts were he said “bread”, I gave him a funny look of course, and he then said ”sweet bread” and ran off into the kitchen for some time, when he finally emerged he served the table next to me their mains, I was stunned at this point.... When he finally came back after leaving me in mid conversation, I just decided to order it as they had already run out of 3 other dishes. When the desert finally came it was actually fruit cake.
Then comes the bedroom.... So we were put into a smaller room that didn’t match the images on booking and they then had the cheek to ask us to pay more for it. The bed in this room didn’t even have a bed sheet, just a mattress protector full of someone else’s hair (see below image).
We were later told after our meal that we had to be at breakfast between 8-9am, when the actual time is 7am-10am (see attached image). I did think this was a rather tight slot for a Sunday morning.
If you like faulty towers you should stay here, otherwise avoid it...
Read moreI contacted the WhatsApp number I found online in order to get more information on how to get there. When I asked about the room price, they said $90 per night. Then I went to their website and found out the same room was priced $64. ||Once there, the fire alarm in the room woke us up at at 1:00 AM with a constant and loud beeping. I contacted the number I had and eventually someone came and took off the alarm from the ceiling. Next morning, none of the staff would talk to us. I was not really expecting a compensation, but maybe an apology, as we booked a room to rest and sleep and that is exactly what didn't happen. Not even "Good morning". When we left, nothing. It seemed we had really offended them, who knows why. We were always polite when expressing our legit complaint to the WhatsApp person. I never felt so unwelcomed in my whole life. ||All in all, the worst customer service ever, plus, they tried...
