Casa Sakiwa Hotel was a basic, fairly comfortable hotel. We stayed one night during a 4 night tour of Ecuador. The bed was comfortable; the bathroom was a bit small but certainly adequate. Beakfast (included) the next morning was satisfactory. There isn't anything to complain about regarding the hotel, but nothing that makes it stand out either. The one thing I would say (and it's not just in reference to this hotel) is BRING EAR PLUGS if dogs that bark on and off all night would be bothersome for you. It seems that Ecuadorians love to leave their dogs out at night and the dogs love to bark at anything and nothing. Read moreWe stayed at Hotel Casa Sakiwa for several nights, ending our time in Ecuador after a couple months. We had such a wonderful experience. The room was comfortable and shower was hot! We had a bathtub that was so amazing after hiking Cotopaxi! The staff was friendly and helpful. Paola helped arrange all our activities! We had several meals at Sakiwa, dinners were nice, excellent presentation. Breakfast was included with the stay and was a fantastic spread. Paola even arranged for breakfast to be a little earlier so we could eat before catching our flight!
