Here is the deal - we go there at 10pm, it was dark and we didn’t like the place. We were ready to leave first thing in the am. The hostal is very rustic, 3 beds and a tiny bathroom- no AC, no tv, wiring is all over the place ... next morning we wake up to see, not only the hostal but the area and we understood everything was still very undeveloped and therefore the hostal provided basic needs as we knew we would be out from sunrise to 11pm! The area is absolutely fantastic, little human presence. The hostal is not beachfront, there is a street and a malecón in between but the street is used by barely 10 cars a day. 15 meters from the hostal is another hostal with a restaurant- we ate there everyday.
