Hotel El Altar — Hotel in Riobamba

It's an OK hotel for overnight stay while passing the city. I would not come here for more than a night, but would like to commend the kitchen for a breakfast well done! The reason for my three stars is the worn down state of most things. No lock on bathroom window an othe first floor, desk in our room cluttered with stuff for sale (even though the same things were available from the reception). La atención inicial fue positiva. La reserva la hicieron de manera rápida y eficiente por teléfono, lo cual se agradece.

Sin embargo, al llegar a la habitación, encontramos restos de shampoo usados por el huésped anterior, lo que nos dejó con la impresión de que la limpieza no fue realizada de forma adecuada. Son detalles que, en un hospedaje, no deberían pasarse por alto.

Otro punto a destacar es que en las habitaciones se indica claramente que el desayuno se sirve hasta las 10:00 a.m. (adjunto una foto que lo respalda). No obstante, cuando bajamos a desayunar a las 9:10 a.m., nos informaron que el desayuno había terminado a las 9:00 y no pudimos acceder al servicio completo. Aun así, la señorita del comedor fue amable y nos ofreció un plato de fruta a cada uno, lo cual valoramos.
