From the moment we arrived at the hotel, it was an exceptional experience. They greeted us right at the entrance with a warm welcome and a delicious drink that my husband absolutely loved! As we made our way to the room, the staff graciously helped us with our luggage, all while sharing fascinating facts about the hotel. The room itself was stunning—every detail in the decor was thoughtfully designed, and as a designer, I was thrilled to stay somewhere where every corner felt like a unique experience. The room was spacious and wheelchair accessible, which is rare to find. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we were greeted with mineral water, fresh lemons, and ice upon arrival. Katherine was exceptionally kind and attentive, helping us with everything we needed. She made a reservation for us at Casa Julián and even arranged for a taxi when we were ready to leave. The breakfast buffet was another highlight, offering an impressive variety of traditional food—not the typical hotel breakfast, but delicious, authentic dishes from the region. It’s truly the perfect place to immerse yourself in the essence of Guayaquil, with its rich colonial architecture, traditional cuisine, iconic songs, glimpses of the local fauna, and fascinating history—all in a beautiful setting by the river. As a Guayaquileña now living in the U.S., I truly appreciated the wide selection, accompanied by traditional music in the background and the warm hospitality of the servers. My parents, my husband, and I had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning!

Beautiful hotel, average experience considering the price because it is used as a tour operator hotel. This is a gorgeous building which has been tastefully renovated. The rooms are nice with high ceilings and pretty fixtures. Good hot water in the shower. The only thing to do here was a park but that was closed. There’s no real other amenities or attractions in the area but they have a sister hotel we could go to which was “ok” with a small pool. Soon after we arrived, bus loads of tourists arrived and mobbed the place. This turned the hotel from a Relais & Chateau boutique into a mass tour operator charter hotel. This made it busy and it then wasn’t possible to get a seat at breakfast despite booking an early breakfast the night before and it being included in our rate. We had an average meal at the Julien onsite restaurant. It was again mobbed with the tour operator so felt like a charter restaurant, with huge tables of guests. They didn’t make up the sofa bed despite booking a room for 3 with a child but they did bring sheets upon request. Overall it was OK but not befitting of the Relais & Chateaux brand and not good value for money.

Best hotel in Ecuador. The service and attention to detail is excellent. The staff truly takes guest satisfaction seriously and it shows. The check-in experience was next level, from the moment you are welcomed into the lobby you are greeted with chilled towels to refresh yourself and a shot of a delicious drink. You then sit down to finalize your arrival and you go on a tour of the property to familiarize yourself with the amenities available. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. They have a nice business center/tea room where you can invite your friends and family to talk and relax. The breakfast buffet in the garden is phenomenal, they have plenty of local cuisine and a menu of items that are made to order. Overall the experience was blissful and tranquil, I 100% recommend a stay here, even for just 1 night.

We came to Guayaquil as lue daughter was looking for a wedding destinatiom overseas and they decided Guayaquil, Ecuador Hotel de l Parque|. We expended 4 for nights and the party group was conformed by 180 persons.. Oue fests came literally from all over the world,. The party took place in the patio outside outside with magnifecent decorativas, exquisite food a Band, DJ, etc. we all had the same|Feeling, “This is the place”. Excellent location, short distance from the airport, located in a very fancy area of Samborondon near culinary, cultural and shopping experiences. The hotel is majestuc, similar to estructures from old Gjayaquil 1900??. Nesrby walking distance is “el parque historico” a beatiful zoo park to relax and see animals from the tropical rainforest and please dont miss sunset by the river with background the blue mountains. You can also admire the little crabs by the “manglar” and if you are lucky take a close look to the riviera, you may see an otter as we did last night. Rooms a d bsthrooms are clean, big, comfortsble qith excellent and refine decorstions. Befs are really comfortsble, good night sleep im a quiet place. There are 2 patios where you can read, relax or have a talk with friends The rooms are provided qith a secueiry box. Before you come please do some siet as breakfast in El Jardin” are extraudonary good. Redtaurant Casa Julian is also a place to mwntion as food is made with only that quality that a 5’stsr Hotel will do it. But the most, most important of all this fantastic place is the people. Courtesy, kindness, service and friendsjio is “A plus”. In few words from now I will come to Hotel Del Parque everyrime I will come toGuayaqui. Guys way to go and thank you...

El Hotel Del Parque is a truly magical oasis just a 10 minute taxi from the Guayaquil airport. You feel like you are in another world. All the customer service is phenomenal, it smells so good right when you walk in, and the energy is just impeccable. It is a space that is a renovated church and hospice, with the old chapel still in the center. If you want to book a massage in advance, they have a lovely little gym and spa space in the bell tower! There are two central courtyards, one of which has the garden restaurant where you can have breakfast. There are beautiful buffet spreads with delicious local fruits, juices, cafe con leche, filtered water, and yummy gluten free options. The other courtyard has wonderful seating and a magical fountain and lush trees with epiphytes. The space is overall so tranquil and relaxing, nestled in an historic park and next to an animal sanctuary. The rooms themselves are gorgeous, comfortable, and well appointed. The beds were comfy and the room had GREAT air conditioning (as American tourists visiting from the frigid northeast, we really appreciated this!). The showers were HUGE with gorgeous marble floors. All of the guests were respectful and overall quiet. My favorite part was they would burn palo santo every evening at sundown around all the courtyards to protect the plants from bugs, so there weren’t many biting insects and it also smelled amazing and served as a nice energy cleanse. We stayed here for a few nights in our way to the Galapagos and I cannot recommend it enough! So wonderful. Also great to visit the animal sanctuary and Casa Julian while you are there....

The hotel is stunning. The staff are welcoming and professional. They will do their best to meet all of your needs. We felt safe and well taken care of the entire stay. Definitely have the hotel transport pick you up at the airport. We were part of a large group attending a wedding, so our transportation for the vast majority of our stay was in vans and was not done by us, but there is a safety concern in Guayaquil, so don't just catch a random taxi. Once at the hotel, procuring reputable transportation is as easy as asking the front desk to call someone for you. Have cash on hand, as taxis do not take credit cards. Our most expensive ride was $10 (the trip back to the airport from the hotel). Samborondón, in general, seems quite safe. It is a pretty upscale area. As for the hotel, the breakfast is an outstanding buffet type breakfast in a gorgeous covered garden area and is included with your stay. Everything is fresh, and locally sourced (if I am not mistaken). There are several options and additional requests don't seem to be an issue at all. The restaurants are open with full service until 11:00 pm, and include all taxes and gratuities. On several occasions food was available even past the 11:00 hour. On Saturday night, as there was a large wedding on the property, room service was available all night. Room service is only about a $1 price increase for each of the menu items. The rooms are spacious and the beds are unbelievably comfortable. The bathroom is also quite spacious and the amenities are wonderful. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at...
