Grand Pacific Hotel — Hotel in Tonsupa

This little gem of a hotel sparkled! Nerma, the owner, was ever-present and made sure the customer service here was spot on. Rooms are comfortable, spotless and fresh looking. Less than a year old, it is freshly painted inside and out. Rooms have American-style, crisp linens. Pool, lounges, and bar with tables and umbrellas are a nice relaxing area in the evening and for breakfast. And, it is only a short two blocks to the beautiful beach. The local coastal town/beachfront of Tonsupa is very popular with Ecuadorians--albiet smaller and much more low key than Atacames--but is a fun experience, as this resort area also has seaside...

We LOVE this hotel! My husband and I are hotel owners ourselves in Mompiche and this little gem of a hotel is our favorite night getaway spot! The owner is incredibly friendly and attentive, the staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms, pool, and grounds are immaculate, and the price is right! The on-site parking is secure and convenient and the hotel is nicely situated... tucked away from the noise of the beach hotels and restaurants but a close and easy walk to get to them. We can´t recommend this...

Great location, only steps to beach and very nice rooms. Hotel is completely air conditioned, cable TV, and great pool with tiki bar. The staff makes US visitors very comfortable.
