El Mahrousa Hotel – A Hidden Gem in Alexandria
I had the pleasure of staying at El Mahrousa Hotel in Alexandria, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. Situated right on the Mediterranean coast, the hotel offers breathtaking sea views and a prime location that makes exploring Alexandria a breeze.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a touch of classic elegance that reflects the city's rich history. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying a morning coffee on the balcony was truly a highlight of my stay.
The staff at El Mahrousa deserve special mention for their exceptional hospitality. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Whether it was providing local recommendations or accommodating special requests, they were always friendly and professional.
The hotel's restaurant serves a variety of delicious dishes, blending traditional Egyptian flavors with international cuisine. The seafood options were particularly outstanding, and the dining experience was enhanced by the serene ambiance of the restaurant.
Another noteworthy feature is the hotel's proximity to key attractions such as the Alexandria Library, Qaitbay Citadel, and Montazah Palace. It’s perfect for both leisure and business travelers who want convenience and comfort.
Overall, El Mahrousa Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Alexandria. It combines excellent service, stunning views, and a welcoming atmosphere to create a memorable experience. I can’t wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in this...
Read moreHotel has it's good and bad qualities, -for the good parts rooms were big and super clean , prepared all the amenities that you will need ( tooth brush , paste , flipflops, kitting set , shaving set and of course shower gel and such ) although we booked standard double room it was really great for us and comfy -Also they have their own private beach which has tunnel entrance+ cafes+ restaurants , they have great view and clean water you can order your breakfast to room and it's very big portions for one person, but food quality is okay not bad not good
For the negative parts is mainly reception and their customer service skills , they don't know how to " follow up " on their guest's issues , I had huge delay issue with laundry service called them 6 times and in the 7th time they told me I need to contact laundry myself I ended up going to laundry room myself to get my own stuff , it was really bad service and none of the receptionist contacted me to follow up on this or even to know how I solved the issue
Also me and my friend we have been asked multiple times if we're guests in investigating tone which kinda pissed us off because we look exactly like everyone else nothing suspicious about us ??
Overall it's one of the best hotels we have stayed in Alexandria but staff need customer service traning, even call center agent would have treated...
Read moreI had a disrespectful attitude with one of the captains at the Gym. I was taking a picture with my friend and suddenly one of the captains yelled at our faces with a very vulgar way that this is not acceptable, calming that it’s against the policy of the gym. I talked with the responsible person for the gym, he was a decent guy, but surprisingly during our conversation he mentioned that this isn’t the policy of the gym it’s his own policy. I decided to take it further with the GM, firstly, he isn’t a welcoming person, once I entered he asked me to get to the point, he didn’t even talked a word with me, and at the end he told me I’ll check and we shall give you a call. What kind of customer satisfaction are you guys dealing with, with all respect to his title but he was far away from being professional. We deserve to be treated in a respectful way, even if the situation is silly to you, you should show your customers some respect, it has been around two days now, and no one bothered to contact me, I thought military people are men of their words! All i asked for was a simple apology for the way the captain talked. but it seems a military hotel hires only immature people who don’t know a thing about policies and customer’s satisfaction. My advice to anyone dealing with the hotel, low your expectations if you ever had a...
