If you're reading through the comments, I've read all of them and understand some people's opinions. I've traveled all my life. If you're looking for something posh and are expecting to be attended to every second it's not for you. If you're looking to be in the center it's not for you. It's quiet and removed from the city which doesn't mean the city is inaccessible. I love tuctucs so I didn't need an air-conditioned taxi. It costs 200 EGP to get to the sites in the city. That's the equivalent of €3,50. I'd rather pay that than hear the constant beeping in the city. The rooms are small but not unlivable. They are perfectly fine for sleeping in. True the hot water doesn't heat to the point of melting your skin but who wants that when it is 40° outside. The bathrooms could be a little better but again I wouldn't complain about that. If you treat the staff with respect they will treat you well. Most of them are now people I actually want to see again in my life. They are kind and hospitable. The food is good, and the view amazing. The pool does get a little dirty at the end of the day but you are next to the Nile there are insects anywhere that is hot and has a body of water this extensive. Regardless of this I see them clean it everyday. The price is generous for what it is. If you want to be a princess pain or snob go get a hotel that costs you more than 100 euros/dollars a night. It's 30-40 dollars a night here, literally the price of a shared room hostel in Europe. Here you have your own room. Thank you to all the staff who have been amazing and have made my time in Aswan incredible. For easy going people I would recommend it. For more needy...
Read moreI had a very unpleasant experience at Fenti Nubian Resort. The property was not at all as advertised—photos online are highly misleading. The bathroom lacked ventilation, with dirty walls and floors, and I was disturbed to find bloodstains on the shower curtain. The mattress was stained with what appeared to be paint, and both the mattress and pillows were extremely uncomfortable.||The location was also problematic. Loud barking from stray dogs continued through the night, along with noise from a nearby mosque and loud music from the on-site restaurant. Sleep was nearly impossible.||Service was poor and unprofessional. There was no staff at the front desk from 11 PM to 9 AM, and most of the team spoke only Arabic, with the exception of the receptionist. Hygiene standards were very low—staff appeared unclean and had a noticeable odor. There was no phone in the room, so any request had to be made in person at the reception. ||Despite all these issues, the resort refused to refund my remaining three nights, which I had booked through Expedia. Unfortunately, Expedia was also unhelpful in resolving the matter.||I do not recommend this place and advise future travelers to...
Read morePros: amazing niles view from the resort. Food menu such as tagine and grilled kofta and pasta are pretty decent and we enjoyed their food. Staffs are willing to help you and negotiate prices for tours. Bed sheet in our standard room had a very bad sweaty smell and we told to the staff and they upgraded our room to suite with niles view. Great hospitality in general.
Cons: swimming pool is very gross and dirty. They dont seem to clean it often (maybe it’s because low season?) so we dont get to swim at all. Breakfast food was a bit stale. They can improve more on breakfast food quality. In terms of location, it’s bit far away from everything so you need to find your own transportation from resort to the different places. It was not easy to get around since this resort is located at remote area. They dont seem to take care of room conditions such as TV cable, dust, bed sheets etc. Bad Wifi… wifi was not working at all in most...
