Wow, this was one of the best meals that I have ever eaten in Egypt (and I have spent a lot of time here)! I ordered a fish tagine which was not on the menu but the chef still made it for me. It was perfectly cooked and spiced and came with a variety of sides including rice, salad, tahini, bread, vegetables, green soup (molokhia) and some sliced orange. Good portions and beautifully presented. I only wish I had taken a photo before eating it all! The restaurant is in a lovely location overlooking the river a little up the hill from the main road. Overall the food was fine, no problems at all, but also not the best we have eaten.

We ordered a mix BBQ and the burger, both were good sized portions and came with the associated sides.

The one sour note was the waiter confirming how we would like to pay, and offering credit card, great, our preferred method. He then went on to say, that he would like his tip in cash.
