Farah Nile Cruises without a doubt an amazing cruise. I'm making this comment based on me being on at least 4 Nile cruises in previous years such as the moon Goddess, Travco cruises and others.
We went on the 4 night and five day cruise from Luxor to Aswan. Our cruise was from September 26th to September 30th.
We boarded around 11am and we were greated with smiling faces. The on boarding was simple and took only a couple of minutes. We were also given a couple of cabin options. Based on the cabins we saw they were all the same size.
The cabin and washroom were luxurious and much bigger than the other cruises I previously was on.
The Farah cruise ship looked new. It was very modern and luxurious. The crews goal was to make everyone happy and have a memorable experience.
All passengers on the cruise ship were on a full board bases when it cam to food (drinks were extras and chargeable). Breakfast and lunch were buffet style and there were pleanty of options to please both vegetarian and meat lovers. Dinner was sit down and served by the crew members in the restaurant. However if your hungry they will provide you with more food. Unlike other Nile cruises we had several fresh sea food ( Shrimps and Crab) and fish meals beside othe meats for lunch and dinner. We also had a BBQ on the upper deck for supper one of the nights.
The cleaners cleaned our cabin twice a day making nice things with the towels. They also put in the next day scedual evey night. The two guys were very pleasant and always had a smile.
We always had nightly entertainment which is smilar to all the other Nile cruises. First night was Belly Dancing, on other nights there was an international night, beduin show, and custom party.
We were also fortunate and very lucky to have Mr. Ahmed Moatty as our private guide. As I previously mentioned I did the cruise several times before and I went to all the temple but Mr Moatty always managed to provide us with more details and information. True Gentelman, very professional who dearly loves Egypt, Luxor and Egyptology . Mr Moatty was know and respected by all the tour guides. He has a big hart and helps all those who needs help. I consider Mr Moatty as a friend and a brother.
Ask for Mr Ahmad Moatty as a tour guid and you won't regret it. He's truly amazing!
Is there any negative feedback about the Farah Nile cruise. None!
In summary the Farah Nile cruise is Amazing. It's an experience you will always cherish. The cruise is modern, clean, food is delicious, cabins are very nice and service is amazing. Now I know why there logo is "Farah - Totally Different". It is totally different in comparison to the other Nile Cruises.
I thank Mr. Essam Moustafa and his team for a memorable experience.
See you next year on the Farah...

My recent cruise experience aboard the Farah left much to be desired. Despite the allure of luxury and relaxation, several factors contributed to an overall disappointing journey.
Firstly, the rooms were exceptionally tiny, failing to provide the comfort and space expected for the price paid. At a hefty $7,000 US for just three nights, the exorbitant cost far outweighed the value received.
Compounding the issue was the lack of flexibility and customer service exhibited by the management. When requesting an alternate room for our children, we were met with an additional demand of $1,500 US, highlighting a disregard for customer satisfaction.
The tipping point occurred when, dissatisfied with the conditions, we opted to check out after just one night. Despite our dissatisfaction, the management refused to adjust the bill and insisted on full payment, leaving us feeling trapped and undervalued as customers.
However, amidst the disappointment with Farah, there was a silver lining. Upon transitioning to the Nile style cruise, we found ourselves in an entirely different experience. Not only were our needs promptly accommodated, but we were also provided with a separate room for our children. Remarkably, we could extend our trip for an additional two nights at a fraction of the cost demanded by Farah for a single room.
In conclusion, our experience aboard the Farah proved to be a regrettable waste of money, failing to live up to the hype surrounding it. With inadequate accommodations, poor customer service, and inflexibility in addressing concerns, it's clear that Farah falls short of providing a satisfactory...
Read more2 families of four people (2 adults and 2 teen age kids per family) from USA just completed a 4 night/5 day Nile river cruise with MS Farah cruise line. We boarded in Luxor and ended the trip in Aswan. This was the very best cruise experience had by all age groups (and we have been cruising quite a bit). The ship had a very modern decor. The facilities including our rooms were extremely clean. Bathrooms in the cabin were nice size. The room maintenance staff was always tidying up our room every time we left…. even if it was for a little bit. Dining experience was excellent. Here the staff was always looking for ways to serve us and make us feel like royalty. They would carry our plates from the buffet to our table and always remembered what we liked and made it a point to offer those dishes to us again. We had 2 people who were not feeling well after our long flight from the US and the kitchen staff went out of their way to prepare special food for them. They had a very wide variety of food each day with a selection of various world cuisine. The mango juice was to die for! On the 3rd day they had a cooking class followed by a bbq on the sun deck. This was a meat lovers dream come true! ALL the staff on board was super friendly, kind, welcoming and helpful. It felt like an extended family for the days we were on board. Our teenagers said the Farah cruise was their favorite part of the trip. The sun deck was a fun place to hang out. Entertainment on board each night was fun as well. The staff took any feedback into consideration immediately and made sure we were comfortable. We highly recommend this...
