Review: A Disastrous Experience with "Just Smash”

I recently had one of the worst food delivery experiences with "Just Smash" that I feel compelled to share. My friends and I decided to order four double burgers from this restaurant, expecting a delicious meal to enjoy together. What we received, however, was far from that.

To start, we paid nearly 800 EGP for our order, which, given the price, set high expectations for the quality of the food. Sadly, these expectations were shattered. The burgers arrived a whopping 1.5 hours late. By the time we received them, they were cold and soggy. The unbearable taste was a clear sign that the burgers had been left out long after being cooked, turning what should have been a fresh meal into a disappointing mess.

But if the food wasn’t bad enough, the customer service was even worse. When we reached out to "Just Smash" to express our dissatisfaction, the way they handled our complaint was truly unacceptable. There was no apology, no attempt to make things right, and no consideration for the inconvenience caused.

In short, everything about this experience—from the poor quality of the food to the abysmal customer service—was a disaster. I would strongly advise others to think twice before ordering from "Just Smash." There are plenty of better options out there that actually value their customers'...

I’m a businessman from San Francisco, California, and I was visiting Egypt with three of my American friends. We were just walking around in Nasr City when we randomly came across a place called Just Smash and decided to give it a try.

The burgers were beyond excellent – the taste, the quality, the way they were cooked – everything was done perfectly. All of us agreed that Just Smash is way better than In-N-Out back in the States, and that’s not something we say lightly!

What made the experience even better was the amazing service. The staff were extremely polite, welcoming, and fast. They really made us feel like important guests, and that kind of hospitality makes a big difference in any dining experience.

If you’re in Cairo, especially around Nasr City, you’ve got to try Just Smash. It’s not just on par with big-name burger spots in the U.S. – it actually beats...

Unfortunately my first experience will be the last, everything was wrong from the beginning.

The call center doesn’t even register that you pressed a number.

The agent who answered wrote down the wrong phone number.

The order arrived wrong.

The delivery driver was unhygienic and had long dirty nails

The food came with the bags open and the fries very accessible for the driver and the bag was oily which was an indicator that he had touched the fries then the bag.

And after contacting customer support they sent me the order without proper sealing again so I sent it back.

I’m so sad and appalled that everything that starts good in Egypt usually goes downhill because of the lack of attention to details as such.

Unfortunately I do not recommend this restaurant due to their lack of service communication...
