Unfortunately, during my stay, $300 and AED 1,500 were stolen from my bag in the living room of the common area or the lobby . I reported this matter immediately to the hotel management, but I regret to inform you that no action was taken to investigate or resolve the issue.

No security cameras in the common areas of the hotel, which creates a vulnerability that could be exploited by staff or other individuals. This lack of security further undermines the safety and trust expected at a high-end property such as

no meaningful efforts were made by your team to address my concerns or to escalate the matter to higher management.

This experience has left a negative impression, not only of your hotel but also of my first visit to Egypt and El Gouna. I had high expectations for your property, but unfortunately, they were not met.

I am writing also to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. I have traveled extensively and stayed in numerous properties worldwide, but my experience at your hotel was exceptionally disappointing.

Lack of Orientation and Communication Upon arrival, there was no orientation about the hotel’s facilities, services, or history. For the majority of my first day I was at the hotel, the only interaction was regarding payment, leaving me feeling unwelcome and uninformed. Room Issues • Despite requesting a sea-view room via WhatsApp before booking, this was disregarded, and I was assigned Suite, which was unpleasant and had a strong odor. Despite reporting the issue, no action was taken. • I was informed during check-in that the fridge was refillable, but it was not restocked during my stay at all. Robbery Incident The robbery incident on the first night added to my distress, and despite its seriousness, no member of your management team contacted me to address or resolve the matter. Service Delays and Rudeness • Calls to reception were often unanswered or only picked up after 15–30 minutes, with requests fulfilled very late. • During the event, I requested four slippers for guests, which took 35 minutes to arrive. After the wedding, I was denied slippers for myself in an unprofessional manner. But After an argument I managed to get one for myself. • An employee rudely informed me that my friends, who were only staying for a late dinner, were not allowed to remain, despite them leaving after a few hours. But then I convinced them and order late dinner which I paid at the time of checkout. Lack of Information About Facilities I only learned about the greenhouse from another guest shortly before checkout. Additionally, I was initially informed that the spa services were complimentary. However, I was later charged for a massage, which I paid at checkout without prior notice. Overall Poor Customer Service The staff displayed a lack of professionalism and customer service skills throughout my stay. At a rate of $1,000 for two nights, I expected a much higher standard of service, which was not met.

Poor Excuses and Staff Shortages I repeatedly encountered excuses that service was poor due to an event. This is unacceptable, as all guests deserve quality service regardless of other events. It was also evident that your property is understaffed, contributing to the delays and poor service. Overflowing Swimming Pool Incident at the Wedding During the wedding, the swimming pool overflowed, ruining many of our evening dresses and disrupting the event. This was a completely unacceptable and avoidable incident, and I have never experienced anything like it before. Lack of Information About hotel and Facilities In conclusion, my experience was a complete disappointment, marked by poor service, lack of communication, and unprofessional behavior. I hope this feedback will prompt your management team to review and improve your standards of service to prevent such experiences for future guests.

We recently had the pleasure of staying and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment wr arrived, i was enveloped in an atmosphere of luxury and refinement. The lobby's elegant decor set the tone for what would be an unforgettable experience.

The room was nothing short of spectacular. With floor-to-ceiling windows leading to my own beach. Waking up to such a stunning panorama was a highlight of my stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring that every need was met with ease.

What truly set apart was the exceptional staff. From the front desk to the restaurant, every team member was friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to providing outstanding service. They went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, offering personalised recommendations and accommodating any requests I had.

The on-site restaurant offered a delightful culinary experience, with a menu that featured both local and international dishes. Each meal was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The ambiance, combined with the stunning views, made dining here a truly special occasion.

Tying this review as we head to the airport from the hotel. My husband and I spent five nights here, and the entire team took incredible care of us throughout our stay. The service was excellent, and everyone went out of their way to create a wonderful experience for the guests.

We dined three times at the hotel, and every dish we had was absolutely delicious. Our stay in El Gouna was the final leg of our two weeks in Egypt, and throughout the trip — from the Four Seasons to the Sofitel to the dahabiya down the Nile — we had recurring issues with food and water quality that caused daily cramps. But at La Maison Bleue, we had zero concerns. The food quality was exceptional, and everything felt safe and fresh.

The hotel is also perfectly located next to a kite surfing school, less than a five-minute walk along the beach, so I was able to take advantage of that and take some lessons. The spa was wonderful as well — the Thai masseur I had was incredible.

Only two small suggestions: when we dined in the Green Room, it was quite cold inside even with the blankets; and one of the waiters kept referring to us as “bros.” Although he clearly meant no harm and we took no offense, it did feel a bit odd to be addressed that way in such a refined setting.
