Pyramids Sunshine Inn — Hotel in Giza

Avoid this hotel at all costs!! If it wasn’t for booking and our good friends in Egypt we would have slept on the street. We had this hotel booked for months, yet they cancelled on us when we were already at the airport, one hour before our flight!! The previous day they sent us an email to confirm our booking that we still want to go (which already seemed sketchy since it didn’t come through booking and asked for money although it was impossible to comprehend), which we did confirm, but no reply came. Then one hour before our departure, they only wrote “you cannot come to our hotel”. No apologies, no help, no explanation or anything. Of course I immediately called booking and they said they “need to protect the hotel as well not just us” so they called them but the hotel kept lying all around, first saying that something happened in one room and they “didn’t want to get a bad review in case it was badly damaged” then they said they cancelled all rooms and this affected many people. Someone broke all the rooms when they were already begging for money days before? Come on.
