I stayed on 28 December 2024 to leave on the 29th. When I booked it said free shuttle to the airport. When I arrived the receptionist told me free shuttle to airport if I book one more night. |They arranged for me short visit to the airport as to the Giza pyramids at the total cost of $100 USD. I told them I need to be at the airport at 12 noon so I only have 2 hours maximum at the Giza. The receptionist is a guy who lies. He told me the Giza ticket office opens at 8am. He told me the driver will pick me at 8am. I told him the earlier the better.||The truth is the Giza ticket office OPENS AT 7am EVERY DAY.||At 7:45am I asked about the driver at 8am. That same lying receptionist told me he will pick me at 9am because the Giza ticket office will be open at 9am that day. I showed him the Google info that the Giza ticket office opens at 7am. I turned on the voice recorder and told him I wait with the security guard at the hotel door. If the driver did not show up at 8am, I asked him to refund me $100 USD in that case.|I waited at the gate/door with the security guard and I turned on the recorder at 7:59am until 8:03am and I talked to the security guard that I am waiting for the drive at 8am as arranged by the receptionist. ||At 8:03am no driver with car for me showed up as I confirmed with the security guard. So I took Uber and went to the Giza ticket office and I was able to meet a guy there who arranged for me to ride the camel to take picture at the Sphinx, at the Khufu pyramid and to go inside this Khufu pyramid to view the sarcophagus of the king. Also to take the panoramic views of the pyramids. This guide outside the Giza pyramids charged me 1000 Egyptian pounds EGP ($19 USD) for the whole thing. ||He walked the camel for me and took for me all the pictures I wanted. I finished viewing inside the Khufu pyramid and took a lot of pictures of me riding the camel at the sphinx and at other beautiful panoramic views.|The whole things were done in 90 minutes and I was back outside at 10am. I took Uber to the airport for 140 EGP ($3 USD).||Summary: Don’t trust this hotel the way they hire receptionist to...
