Grand siwa lodge — Hotel in Matruh

Grand Siwa Lodge is a smaller lodge with about 10 houses, surrounded by a traditional Siwan-style wall with a wooden gate entrance. The location on a hill outside the town offers stunning views of Siwa, with Cleopatra Hot Springs and Plato just a 10-15 minute walk away, perfect for sunsets and sunrises. The management, with Canadian ties, was incredibly helpful for us as inexperienced travelers, assisting with arranging taxis, tours, and navigating the local vendor culture. Evenings at the central fire were a highlight, with free tea, Egyptian music, and conversations with travelers from around the world. The staff were cheerful and provided excellent service, with delicious breakfasts and dinners. Rooms were warm in winter thanks to heating systems, but the water was summer water—not hot but rather warm, which was a slight inconvenience. Grand Siwa is very recommended, the Hotel is very Cozy and comfortable , Clean and tide, the facilities are new, and you will feel as if you are staying within your family, that I started to think to relocate there, the staff starting from Mr "Yasser" the Owner and Mr Ali the guide passing by Nader and his delicious food are very helpful and welcoming, also I don't want to forget Hussein and Moussa who took us for a ride in Safari I liked our Room a lot and knew that it nicknamed the "Shr7a" :) Location is 20 minutes from city center which was a great destination for me away from any noise but as a whole Siwa is very calm and relaxing Food is very Yummy done by both Chef Nader and 3am Ali our tour Guide who made us some delicious Siwi Dishes Don't miss Mango with Rihan and Zerda Tea Siwa as a whole is an experience that have to be done as it is a different experience like no place I have...

This place is perfect, so relaxing, comfortable and instantly felt like home, you can sleep in salt rooms! The energy here is magical. Ali who runs the accommodation is such a kind, caring and welcoming man shuckran Geden for everything ❤️ I met amazing people here and had such a beautiful time. It’s easy to organise trips from here, and Ali is very helpful with any questions. The bed was comfortable and I felt very safe here. The location is also right next to Mount Dakur and close to other locations for your visit with town still accessible with a short drive. I extended my stay as soon as I arrived, magical.
