Marsa Baghush — Hotel in Matruh

Very dirty place. We tried to check in, but the first room smelled horrible, the smell was too strong. So we went back to the front desk and they put us in the room next door. We found hairs on the toilet seat, and hair on one of the towels as well. We went back to the front desk to ask for a refund. They tried talking us into trying a third room, but it was just too gross. We went back to repack to leave, which took maybe 10 minutes, and by the time we were taking the bags out I couldn't bear the smell of the second room as well. So probably all their rooms smell horrible. The room was also teeny tiny and the staff were helpful, but not professional. They told us the place was new, but actually the wooden sidewalk on the sand was already coming apart....

Perfect place for relxation. La brezza Resturant provides quality food and drinks. The beach is fantastic with amazing colors and white sand. Huts are small but clean and efficient.
