Siwa Shali Resort — Hotel in Matruh

The best place if you work remote, I don’t talk about the wifi (that didn’t work the whole time we stayed there 4 nights) but with mobile phone!

The service is ok, they gave us a table and a chair so we could work remote.

They have 1 pool for use, the long water ways are not for usage, even they would be perfect for swimming.

The location is great if you like to join the salt lake often. It’s a bit far from the city, but in the town you don’t have good internet connection.

And try the salt cave, it’s 3 minutes from there

They could do more for cleaning for sure but if you don’t use much light (eg in the bathroom...

For our second visit place wonderful,💯💯 Good welcoming, room was ready , so clean fresh air when you open them so nice windows, organized there is air-conditioning inside rooms and restaurant. the place let you relax so natural , simple and nice , there is nice views you feel like you inside little oasis from the big one (siwa) 💯💯 Oriental and contenatal breakfast and home made dinner was so tasty ,with good price of the quality the serve . Hotel is so close to clupatra pool And salty lakes pools as well, They have safari service private and with groups, Thanks for all team to make our vacation so so nice See you more...

Based on past reviews I had not so good expectations to be honest. However I was positively surprised by the resort. People were friendly. The resort is clean and very green, it was very calm and relaxing. The rooms were nice and comfortable and most important it was clean. Breakfast was nice. It was a buffet and they had enough choices. The only negative point was that our water boiler was broken and we didn't have warm water (room 142). But we didn't bother to tell the hotel because we were out all day. So that's it and thank you for the hospitality. Hope this review...
