We had a fantastic 2 week holiday. The grounds are so beautiful and some of the staff were amazing. Abdula at the pool was so nice and very attentive. Served some delicious different cocktails too. (Tips really help!) The beach bar staff are good too. We found the bar staff in the hotel less friendly. The drinks are not premium. On the plus side, no hangovers!||The best part of the holiday was the snorkelling. We walked a short walk to next door, Club Resort, as it's nearer to the peer and has a bar. The fish are out of this world! So many different beautiful species. The sea is shallow at the shore so you can walk and snorkel in the shallows and see incredible fish. You can also walk along the peer to go down the steps to the reef. We called it 'the drop off'. Although most of the coral is dead it is still beautiful, and again, has a beautiful array of fish. We saw eels, urchins, clams, a lion fish, and too many other fish to mention. Amazing!|Stay within the buoys, they are there to protect you. My other half grazed a live coral on his way back up to the surface and got stung on his elbow. He said the pain was excruciating but didn't last too long. The life guard sprayed it with a solution. |The sea is so warm! Absolutely amazing. So clear too. The pool is warm and clean too.|There was foam one afternoon at our pool which was great fun and a jet pack show which was brilliant. ||We went on a boat trip. We went with the organisation on site as they offered a half day trip. It was far too hot to a whole day! It was £100 for the 4 of us and extra if you want to scuba dive. The coach trip was short and the boat was great. Clean and with 3 decks. Most of the staff were friendly with reasonable English. The guy with longish curlyhair was particularly good; very calm and patient. They take photos and videos and want you to buy them. Far too expensive for us. They had fizzy soft drinks and water then on the way back come around with a bread stick and fruit slices. We saw lots of fish, although more variety at the hotel. I was excited to see a ray which our guide pointed out. We felt very safe in their capable hands. My partner really enjoyed his dives.||We went to Soho square one evening. I enjoyed the experience but the rest of the family not so much. All the shops were very samey but the fountain show was pretty. We ate at a sushi restaurant which was really good 👍 |The indrive app is much cheaper than booked through the hotel.||This is the most non-inclusive all-inclusive we've ever been to. You have to pay for ice creams, to play pool, fresh juice at breakfast (which looked gross). You also have to pay for the pool foam party and the beach party. These are both at the Club hotel.||The rooms are spacious with nice views. The cleaning could be better. Around the edges of the rooms and under the beds were not clean. There were 2 plug sockets in the bathroom and only 1 in the bedroom. This was very inconvenient. I advise to bring multisockets and even extensions. The TV is awful. Only 3 English speaking channels and the quality of the picture is terrible. We found the beds and pillows to be too hard.||You can always get sunbeds at the pool and the beach. This is such a bonus. Even if we spent the morning at the beach we could then find 4 or more loungers together at the pool, just further back. If you tip you will get drinks brought to you in glasses by the pool. ||The Club Resort is just next door and has more shops and is larger and busier. Our pool and main restaurant was definitely quieter. |We visited 4 different speciality restaurants. The Japanese was great. Good showmanship with fire on the grill. You sit around the cooking area and enjoy the show. The Lebonese was also good. They bring food cooking and smoking on metal boxes and tastes great. The fish restaurant was beautiful, sitting next to the beach by moonlight. We weren't too impressed with the French which is inside Club Resort. ||We booked massages and a pedicure with Oscar who approached us by the pool. He was so lovely and spoke really good English. My other half had never had a pedicure before and was really excited, but it sounded brutal! They cut and filed his toe nails right down, which is a big no no, and scraped his feet till they bled! Not a pleasurable experience. Hopefully he won't get ingrown toenails. The massages; I asked for soft and it was lovely. He asked for hard and slightly regretted it. He also got a sauna, steam and jacuzzi with his.||My daughter reacted bladly to mosquito bites so we went to the pharmacy on site. The guy there was great. A really dry sense of humour and very kind. We bought some cream which helped. My other daughter accidentally knocked over a glass shelf full of suncreams and he was very gracious about it 😅||Overall a great holiday, particularly the snorkelling. We would definitely go back for the sea but maybe not to...
Read moreWe stayed at SeaLife Resort for 10 nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish.
Despite arriving quite late on our first night (around 11:30 PM), the staff had thoughtfully set aside dinner for us—such a kind and welcoming gesture after a long day of travel. Check-in was smooth, our luggage was taken directly to our room, and we received a brief tour of the key areas on the way.
We didn’t go to breakfast often, but when we did, there was a wide and appealing selection. Lunch and dinner were consistently great—plenty of fresh options, a variety of themes, and always clean and well-organized. The 14-night dinner rotation kept things interesting, and the staff regularly offered to bring drinks to the table. Tables were cleared quickly, and the service throughout the dining areas was top-notch.
Our room was massive, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. A huge shoutout to Fase, our housekeeper—He was fantastic! Always friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of.
The pool area was another highlight. We never had an issue finding sun loungers—whether we wanted shade or full sun, there were always plenty available. Abdallah at the pool bar was amazing—super friendly and often brought our drinks right over to us without us even asking. It’s the little touches like this that really make a difference.
The beach area and beach bar were both exceptionally clean and well-maintained, providing a relaxing and scenic spot to unwind throughout the day. Comfortable sun loungers and shaded areas were readily available, and the atmosphere was peaceful without being overcrowded. The beach bar offered a great selection of drinks and friendly service, making it easy to spend hours by the sea. One of the highlights was the snorkeling—you could enter the water directly from the beach or take advantage of the pier, which gives access to deeper areas with more vibrant marine life. The clear waters and abundance of colorful fish made for an enjoyable snorkeling experience right on the resort’s doorstep.
The lifeguards were also excellent—always present and clearly taking their job seriously, which made us feel very safe, especially with families and kids around.
We didn’t attend the evening entertainment (not really our thing), but we enjoyed relaxing at the lobby bar, which had a calm and pleasant vibe—perfect for a quiet drink in the evening.
The only downside for us was the constant approach from people selling excursions and spa treatments around the resort. While we understand it’s part of the experience for some, it felt a bit intrusive when we just wanted to relax. A more subtle or optional approach would have been appreciated.
Overall, SeaLife Resort exceeded our expectations especially when a lot of people from neighbouring hotels come to sea life it says a lot. The hotel is clean, the staff are warm and welcoming, and the environment feels very safe and relaxed. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a stress-free,...
Read moreI am an Egyptian American with a dual citizenship, but I live and go to school in the United States. I come to sharm every summer to visit my family as well as vacation time. This year was the worst year I’ve ever been to sharm and it is because of this hotel. The furniture is old and the doors. You have to slam it shut, one time I woke up in the middle of the night and realized that the door is opened because if it’s not slammed with all your force, it’s not closing.
On top of that, the service of the workers in this hotel is absolutely disgusting. Especially the front desk workers, Espically sharaf/shalby who also lied to me and told me his name was something else until I pointed out that he is literally wearing his name tag. However, when I switched to speaking English instead of Arabic, they also switch and suddenly they want to accommodate. I’ve never seen a country treat their own people HORRIBLE. Which only shows you the type of people working in this hotel are only after your DOLLARS. ESSAM, at the taxi stand is by far the worst at the hotel. He made fun of my sisters English accent while speaking in Arabic thinking she “ wants to be American” until he realized we are actually American citizens and then his manager came to apologize, again because they don’t want to lose out on DOLLARS. We had to get a taxi from ESSAM and the taxi dropped us off 45 mins from the beach with strollers and oldest ladies because “ he couldn’t go all the way inside “ however, we asked the police and they told us that if their license is good then they can enter. Which just proves to me that ESSAMS workers don’t have correct LICENSE TO DRIVE, otherwise he would have dropped us off instead.
My Advise to everyone staying in this hotel, stop paying with dollar and exchange the currency. You’ll see the true side of the workers at this hotel. It’s disgusting. If you are going to stay in this hotel, good luck. Make sure to get a taxi or another form of transportation other than ESSAMS because you don’t want to be caught in a car with someone driving with an expired or no license.
I asked for a price in my English accent and they wanted to over charge me by more than 20$ USD however, when my mom asked with her Egyptian accent the price was lower. THEY ARE SCAMMING YOU, change your currency and pay with EGP !!
As far as the animation team and the food, they deserve a raise or to gather and go work somewhere else. Their good and hard work shouldn’t be reflected with the horrible treatment of...
