RCI members: If you are an RCI member and are considering this resort, our recommendation would be don't waste your points and cash. As well as the RCI exchange fee you will be charge $150 or $200 for service costs. Bearing in mind the services are minimal this is very high. And you can get it much cheaper through a hotel booking site. ||Some bad points before the good, based on our stay: |- There was no pool bar|- There was no restaurant |- The toilets near the pool, in reception, were out of order|- There are bad rooms and ok rooms. We complained about the quality of our first room, due to the state of the bath, and was moved to a much better room.|- Vents are open in many rooms allowing mosquitos entry. We plugged these with plastic bags. |- The AC was very poor, set to 25'C, with no ability to change |- The TV didn't seem to have access to channels in English. ||The Good, based on our stay:|- The resort manager was fantastic. On day 1 he took us to the local fish restaurant and supermarket, showing us around and translating for us. Important purchase was mosquito spray. He booked taxis for us and was generally very helpful. |- Our room, was actually OK. Basic but OK. The kitchen consisted of: a sink with cold water (no hot), a large fridge freezer, kettle and a dual electric hob (no microwave).|- The beds were comfortable and clean. |- The pool was cool but clean, again due to the hard work of the manager and his team. |- We were the only people on holiday so we had the pool to ourselves! There were only 11 sunbeds but we had the choice of all of them. No need to get up and reserve your space :) The other guests seemed to be business people.||The local fish restaurant was a great Egyptian experience. Not a holiday restaurant, a restaurant used by Egyptians. Loads of food for £5 per person. Choose your fresh fish and wait for it to be prepared. ||The resort is a 20 minute walk from Sharks Bay beach. However, the walk is on a very dusty road with a constant stream of lorries moving sand and churning the road. The restaurant on the beach was great. Cheap and great quality. The two of us ate for about £15, including drinks. ||Would we stay here again? No. There are much better resorts for the price we paid. But for a cheap place to stay while taking advantage of the Sharks Bay dive centre it may be worth...
Read moreDear friends stay away from this place. Let me bullet point what I saw there.||-At my check in they did not have any change to give me back. I actually had to pay cash cause " the terminal was not working that day" I think they avoid gettig card payments as they will have to give commissions to the banks.||-ROOM: Stains in the [--] and holes, no AC working, tv was not working properly. Hot water available. There was a kitchen, but nothing to cook with... They did not service my room in 3 nights I was there even i complaint! It was ridiculous.||-There is music playing all day at the pool area which is annoying if you have a courtyard room. Music playing but pool was empty due maintainance. I was the only guest in the hotel, couldnt they just turn off that music and let people rest.||-Location is really bad, about 20 mins by bus from the main town and the beach near the hotel is boring and you will be charged to use it.||-The restaurant at the hotel and the buffet that they talk about in the webpage was closed so I was offered for one meal at my room. DISGUSTING! Silverware was wrapped in toilet paper and two blocks more of toilet paper were given as napkins. Food was untasty, overcooked, vegetables had dirty skin, and they wouldnt even pick up the trays. I had a tray on my room for one whole day. ||Please folks stay away from this trap... It will cost you more to pay taxis than to stay at a more expensive hotel in the right place near nightlife, restaurants,...

The diving is excellent (sharks Bay is a must see),the beaches are nice and fhe main city Neama has a very exciting night life and shopping area. There is another good area close to Logaina called Soho square with some nice resturants and shops.||The hotel "Logaina" is a nice , clean affordable hotel. The staff are more than willing to please you . The chef "Ahmed " arranged vegeterian meals for us which are very delicious. (the food in Logaina was my favorite place to eat)||The rooms are not rooms but rather suites (at least the one I was staying in) . The suite we had was bedroom and reception area . very clean with bright colors. facing the pools.||The pools and gardens well maintained and with lots of nice sun beds around.||Getting around from Logaina was not a big problem (with the help of the reception desk). we used public transportation which is about a 2 minute walk and costed less than a dollar.||We enjoyed walking to the beach (sharks bay) which is about a 20 minute walk or by bus or taxi about 3 minutes.||overall it was a very nice experience and i look forward to doing it again and comming here again||There is an ATM machine outside the hotel and there is...
