i have just returned from a two week all inclusive stay and i must say i did enjoy the stay i work in a very busy on your feet for long hours job so was looking forward to a lovely poolside rest . The Restaurant staff were exceptional and nothing was to much for them , the food was i bit dull and repetitive not much choice or variety but i didnt starve . The reception staff were not welcoming at all you felt like an inconvenience to them . The housekeeping staff were very friendly the only person i had an issue with was housekeeper Ahmed Sami , he continually knocked on my door and just walked in my room when i opened the door (i am a woman on my own ) he constantly asked me to get him jobs in England and to give him something special for his daughter , very unsettling for a woman holidaying on her own . The minute i walked in my room he would knock i felt like he was stalking me . The cleaning was ok apart from the bathroom , the shower cubical was not cleaned the whole two weeks i was there and there was black mould everywhere in the shower . I did notice there was not any female staff at all at the hotel while this was not a big deal i think when you have lone woman holidaying there should be some woman working there to relate to as it seems Egyptian men do not interact on the same level with woman ( cultural i know ) The music round the pool was way to loud constantly all day long into the late evening , it would have been nice to have some quiet time by the pool to chill . All being said i did enjoy my stay and would consider going again if the the problems i have mentioned were to be ironed out and the hotel brought up to scratch ( cant keep blaming Covid ) . It is a 3 star hotel but could well be a 4 star and in this day and age to have no internet in your room seems very backward . The pool staff and bar staff were above and beyond in service and i commend them highly . All in all the outside was cleaner than the inside , lovely pool lovely people (apart from Ahmed Sami ) . i would definitely go again at...
Read moreOverall the room was okay however the tv didn’t work, the toilet had a leak and you had to use the key card numerous times to enter. The staff at the bar, kitchen and pool went above and beyond so thank you to Ali, Mahmoud, Hassan and the rest of the catering team. Unfortunately there was one person who let the experience down, Amr Salah from reception had told us we wasn’t getting the room we paid for (double room) and attempted to give us two single beds separated. We then translated to him we had paid for this but he shrugged his shoulders and said we’d have to pay more. He then proceeded to say the card machine wasn’t working when we clearly saw it work, we finally gave in and said we’d have the standard room and one of the luggage carriers took us to the room we paid for originally. Our check out time was 12pm however our airport transport wasn’t until 8pm so we paid Amr Salah (in cash with a tip) as again “the card machine wasn’t working” to stay until later and extra for dinner. When the time came we was refused dinner until we paid 800 Egyptian pounds extra as clearly Mr Salah had pocketed the cash and was no where to be seen. The card machine worked fine when paying for the food when another member of the reception staff served us. I can’t thank the bar, kitchen and pool staff enough for being so kind and friendly, but the reception staff and mainly Amr Salah really let this place down with there scams,...
Read moreI’d like to say this generous review is due to the 99% of the staff here . There was one person who let us down massively and it was Amr salah. He had such a scammy attitude when we had entered the hotel , it was very late and he was trying to give us a super awful room. There was no changing his mind unless there was money involved , so finally he decided to put us in the actual room we booked on the photos . This was after he pretended not to understand us and even with google translate he played dumb. Honestly I was so stressed and this guy just was so unhelpful. We had another situation too but I’m happy to just put the loss of star down to solely that man. The resort itself is okay , the general look of the room was lived in and damages but nothing to effect too much of my stay. In terms of the food it was great, lots of options and staff to teach and tell you what everything was . The kitchen, bar and pool staff were elite ! Genuinely made us the happiest and I was so sad to leave these behind ! Always putting in so much effort to make us smile and feel accommodated. The pool area is well looked after and the lobby is nice for drinking . In terms of wifi there is none, unless in the lobby so travellers please be wary if you think you will be able to access from your room :( also no action to decrease mosquitoes, I was...
