This is our second stay here at Seaville and we stayed for 4 days in 2024 and 8 days this year. I’ve stayed for my birthday this year and the service is excellent. The manager and guest services manager (Mai ElSayed) remembered us from our stay last year and were beyond helpful. Before our stay I messaged to ask if we could have our same room again and they ensured the room was ready for us and decorated. My husband spoke with Mai regarding some preparations for my birthday and she was exceptional! She helped him with anything he could ask for and arranged for our room to be decorated and to also include some decorations he provided. There were 3 room maintenance guys who spent an hour decorating our room and I was blown away! The attention to detail is amazing and I could not thank them enough! Everyday our room was cleaned and throughout our stay the decorations of flowers and details our main guy had done were beautiful! The food is excellent, considering we’ve stayed in hotels in Sharm, Hurghada and Cairo on multiple occasions, you cannot fault the food at all! Everyday was something else, kofta freshly made on the grill outside, chicken, burgers. The variety is perfect just enough to have a bit of everything, never had any issues with it! Head chef Tarek is a credit to the hotel! He is amazing!! Definitely one to make sure guests are happy and satisfied. He spoke with my husband after Mai had arranged for a birthday cake to be made for me and he asked for all the small details (what type; vanilla/chocolate etc, if he had any specifications as to how he would like the cake to look). I could not believe they made me a whole cake (enough to feed a family of 10 at least!) and it was all complimentary of the hotel! I’ve never been anywhere that does this, it’s usually a slice or a cupcake with happy birthday written on a plate! Chef Tarek also made us a speciality pasta from the pasta station which was divine! He explained to me that he worked with an Italian chef for 16 years and his wife is Italian so you can imagine the standards! I’d pay for that in a restaurant and come back again! He’s so polite, I could not thank him enough for the hospitality and kindness! Breakfast was perfect, just what’s needed to fuel you for the day, again no issues at all! Fresh omelette station, foul. Falafel, eggs, sausages, salads, fresh bakery wall full of goodies, all the breads under the sun, salads, fruits, yoghurt, warm croissants.. etc. The beach is amazing, the sea is so calm and by late afternoon the tide is out and free for you to take a calm walk through as most of it is up to ankle/knee height at the most. Saied runs the beach and was very helpful, always assisted us as we got on to the beach and dusted off our sun loungers and table and chair and set up our umbrella. ||There are water activities available on the beach marina but the prices have drastically risen from last year. We paid 800 for 20 mins on a jet ski last year and this year it was 1500 for 15 minutes. This is a deterrent unfortunately as it seems quite a rise in price. Hence why I only went on it once. ||There is a beach restaurant, beach bar and JoJo’s cafe, however all run by the hotel and could use improvement on variety of drinks/availability and size variety could be introduced (e.g options for Medium/Large) as it’s headache when you are at the other end of the beach and you want a ice cold drink and it’s finished in 2 minutes. Had to ask the guys to improvise on my iced coffee and they were happy to do so and fulfil my requests. |The other downside to drinks is that last year at dinner there was a drinks dispenser in the main food hall and that was replaced by an allowance of a single can of drink (coca cola, sprite or Fanta) and bottle of water this year with dinner, and the only other option is to buy additional drinks from the cafe in the lobby which the drinks dispenser made more sense as your not going to leave dinner and go to the lobby to get another drink so it’s a bit inconvenient and it would make sense to put the drinks dispenser back. |The service in the restaurant was better last year as it seems they are not as attentive as my previous visit. This could be improved as when tipping the waiters, usually you get your main guy that serves you but it seemed a bit slack this year. Due to the limit on drinks you have to ask the waiter for your drinks so they can tick off your room number so at times you’d be waiting a while for your drinks to the point my husband got up and went and got ours from their service desks.||Overall I’d always come back, I even said to my husband let’s go back for a couple of days as the weather warmed up the end of the week and we only got back last week! We chose from going to Sharm, Hurghada or to Sokhna and this was my first choice as I wanted a relaxing quick vacation and the beach is open all night for you to sit and relax. Mai ElSayed is a gem to the hotel and she is the most amazing woman! Thank you for everything you have done for us to make our stay extra special, you have no idea what this means to us! Tarek, you made our dining experiences amazing and we looked forward to dinner every night! Thank you to all the staff that sung me happy birthday it was special and one...

Our experience with Hala Travel and Seaville Hotel was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
We’ve been dealing with this agency for five years, and they know our preferences well. They recommended Seaville as a clean, beachfront hotel with good service, and we booked a half-board package. However, upon arrival, we were shocked to find that our room overlooked a street instead of the pool or garden, and we had not been informed of this in advance.
We asked for a room upgrade due to traveling with a 2-year-old child and were told to pay an extra 500 EGP. Although we agreed, the receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional, refusing to proceed until we settled the matter with the agency—even after we explained we would follow up later. He even asked for the room key back in a disrespectful manner, offering to cancel our stay rather than resolve the issue properly.
Trying not to ruin the short trip, we stayed. However, things got worse.
Since lunch wasn’t included, we ate at the beach restaurant. We were the only customers, yet the food took 1.5 hours to arrive. The pepperoni pizza was made with spoiled luncheon meat, and we immediately felt nauseated and sick after eating one slice. That evening, both my husband and I suffered from food poisoning, fever, vomiting, and diarrhea. I was bedridden for the rest of the day, and my husband only managed to take our son for dinner.
He tried to pick the safest items — grilled chicken and pasta — but again, the food was of very poor quality. He became ill again shortly after eating.
By morning, we had taken medication and felt well enough to pack up and leave. We demanded to speak to the hotel manager (Mr. Hany), who took over an hour to meet us. During another two-hour negotiation, he showed no concern for our health or complaints and refused to offer any meaningful resolution.
Additional complaints included: • The “upgraded” room was in terrible condition (bad smell, broken shower, stains, dead insects on walls, and a balcony door that wouldn’t shut properly) • The room and furniture were dusty, and housekeeping ignored our repeated calls • Mosquitoes and flying insects were everywhere, even in reception, leading to my baby developing an allergic skin reaction • Breakfast yogurt offered to our child was nearing expiration and had an off taste; no fresher option was available
We ended up sick, stressed, and disgusted, and left a day early after an awful experience.
This hotel lacks hygiene, professionalism, and customer service. Hala Travel was dishonest in their recommendation. Food safety was dangerously poor and no one took responsibility.
