Naky Hotel — Hotel in Bahir Dar Special Zone

Amazing hotel from start to finish! The staff were very friendly, the room was spotless and super comfortable, and the facilities were excellent. Loved the breakfast, it was delicious and had many options, and the location was perfect - with beautiful views of the lake right from you window,or even better, a glorious full city view from the rooftop terrace! Honestly one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had, customer service was even better than some of the 5 star hotels in London— I would highly recommend!

This is a fairly small hotel near the main commercial area of the city. The rooms are smallish, but ok, and the price is very competitive, about $ 35 b&B. There is a nice 7th floor roof-top terrace bar & restaurant, with a view to Lake Tana; this is a bit negated by very slow service at this facility, as the kitchen is on the first floor. Stayed for 3 nights for business. The hotel location while central, is very, very noisy. You have to sleep with earplugs (even up on the 6th floor). There are many bars and restaurants on the same street which are playing music until 6am. Breakfast options were very limited, including a very suspicious green egg.
