IVY HOTEL Bishoftu — Hotel in Oromia Region

Clean room, unfortunately they almost scammed us. On checkin, we asked if they have shuttle, the receptionist said yes and told us that the price is 600 birr one way. We went to our room to put our stuff. After an hour or so on our way out we went to the receptionist to take the drivers phone number, they raised the price to 1500 birr. We asked for manager , they said he was not there, we asked for his phone number they didn’t want to give us. Then at last they said that the driver is not available. The next day morning I asked if the manager is there, they said he came and left. I am really frustrated. A great Pleasent and Comfortable stay.

The hotel has a moder look and beautiful interior. Its super clean and comfortable. The staff treatment is exceptional starting from the Security guards ,reception,waiters, Spa ladies..etc all of them are great. They have great breakfast buffet which include kids food. Love there food and there treatment. Me and my family enjoy our time at IVY hotel.

The hotel is located in 95% in normal residence area so there was not that much shops or restaurants near by.

There is small parking space in front of the hotel but the main parking space is located at a separate compound...

We stayed one night, and overall the experience was disappointing. The price did not match the service provided. At booking, the front desk told us the hotel had a steam room and sauna, but this was not true—when we checked, the area was locked and unavailable. The shower had no hot water, and the hotel was far from quiet. It was very loud, which made it difficult since we were traveling with our toddler.
