Not a five star hotel, but definitely five star bed and breakfast at Archipelago area, in middle of Nauvo / Nagu, for your long weekend holiday. Comfy single beds set side by side. Had room number 3, which was downstairs, with small shared balcony. Air conditioning, no mini bar, but staff kindly let us use their fridge to cool own wine bottle 😊 Take your own conditions, toothpastes and so on (..still it's not a hotel with all services), but leave your hair dryer at home. Restaurants, market and other Nauvos services just around a corner, for everything you need to enjoy your trip. Great breakfast!
Have visited here before at cafe and recommend that too. Beautiful garden, tables under apple trees. Can stay inside too if it's rainy (sometimes that happens too in Finland 😉 ). In July, prepare this place might be fully. Some others knows too this is definitely worth of visit. Recommend other times too for visiting, around most popular middle season.
Thanks for the owners. Good luck for 2022 summer season! We will come back later again when it's more...
Read moreKöpmans offers excellent food like I described in a separate review, but the b&b was not so nice. The rooms are really new, and decor is nice with a lot of wood and a big bathroom, nice beds. However the soundproofing is lousiest ever. You hear everything from the other rooms like it happened in your bed. You hear everything from the yard as well: kids playing out really late at night prohibited me from falling asleep. The rooms open directly to the backyard, but it is mostly not a nice sight - old tumbledown sheds etc. ||||We stayed here because we thought the breakfast must be excellent taken the good reviews for Köpmans restaurant. But it was the most basic breakfast, with no orange juice, no porridge, one choice of cutlery, one basic cheese choice, bread and eggs. That's it. 120 euros/night for this is a lot. Also if you stay for more than one night, the room is NOT cleaned...
Read moreHighly overprices. The Breakfast was just weak (which is served when you stay overnight), compared to everything we had in Finnland. It’s ridiculous that you get a toast with some ham or Nutella and the “nice looking stuff” is being sold separately for clients. For a baby bed (7 month old baby) they charged 30€ per day - no other hotel in whole Finnland has charged us any costs for that. That's extortionate! Additionally one of waiters were not friendly at all, not in the evening, not in the morning. We feld uncomfortable. Something we have never experienced in Finnland at all that somebody encountered us with the baby that harsh. Never again. There are sooo many other lovely an price sensitiv accommodations, go...
