JK Hotels & Resorts Ab — Hotel in Jakobstad sub-region

The hotel has quite unique look and all the rooms are bit different too. Ours was of decent size and everything was clean and fine. Bathroom furniture was bit odd as it was clearly made design first, usability second but we managed. Breakfast was good too, enough options for everyone. Good location in the city centre, not much traffic noise at least on weekend. Hotel had only couple of other guests so can't really tell about soundproofing but beware that there is a really noisy ventilation fan that cannot be turned off. Had a sleepless night and cannot recommed this place for us who need...

The premises IS really nice one! Its an old building for local customs. We expected a premium experience with higher than normal Price. Room was ok, clean but nothing special and same goes for morning breakfast. Nothing that makes IT better from normal Scandic. You also had to take the dishes out yourself which IS odd.... Its a 6.5/10 hotel. If you Have too much money take it but you won't get better things than from cheaper ones. We paid More but feel that we got nothing Out from it. BASIC...

The Epoque may not be a high-end luxury establishment, so it can’t really reach the 5* category. But it’s incredibly good value for money for Finnish prices. The hotel is a modernised old building with enough period features to give it character, while the rooms are modern and tidy. A really nice exception to the corporate templates. The staff are really friendly, too....
