Marina Village In Saimaa Gardens — Hotel in Lappeenranta sub-region

I stayed at apartment 3D for five nights with a friend at the time of the New Year 2025. This place is to be avoided at all costs. It was dirty: there was dust and stuff all over the place, a poo in the toilet, dirty dishes at the cupboards and spoiled food in the dumpster. It was icy and dangerous to walk to the car as neither salt nor gravel was used. Finally one of the kitchen cabins' doors fell off and almost hit my friend's head. We took a look at the door and some photos and could see that the door had not been attached to the cupboard for quite some time. It had simply been put back to its place and left unattached.

I wrote to the "customer service" and received no apology. Instead, they tried to blackmail me into giving them a great review at Boking.com, if we would not pay for fixing the door! I waited over two weeks and received no answer for my request for compensation and then wrote my bad review at Booking.com site. After that they have lied about me and my friend not following their rules, accommodating more guests and also they want us to pay 160 euros for the door.

They sell this place for families. Dirt is one thing but unsafety is quite something else. They clearly do not take care of this place. Stay away from this place and remember that they tried blackmailing us into writing a good review... So they may have done this to other...

Could be nice place if cleaned well and all unnecessary random stuff everywhere would be taken away. Cheap price but still can't...

Kolkko paikka täynnä rahastusta. Lakanat ja pyyhkeet maksoivat 15€/hlö eikä asiasta ollut ilmoitettu mitään netti- tai varaussivulla, ja kuvissa ne olivat sängyillä ilman hintalappuja. Polttopuut takkaan myös 15€. Vieraanvaraisuuden taso myös se, että keittiöstä löytyi suolasirotin, joka oli kuitenkin tyhjä. Eli kaikki omat kamppeet mukaan tätä majoitusta varten.

Huonekalut halvinta mahdollista lajia ja aika huonossa kunnossa. Keittiössä hyvä varustus ja terassilta löytyi myös pallogrilli, jota ei oltu mainittu asunnon kuvauksessa. Asunnon kuvaus nettisivuilla huono, eikä mitään ohjeita (muuta kuin ovikoodi ja osoite) tiedoitettu ennen tuloa.

Miljöö on kaunis, mutta juuri tätä majoitusta...
